@buildsbygideon Oh, yes, I combine crime and fantasy a lot! I think I got interested in writing crime because I’ve always been really interested in the mafia and criminal organisations and the like, and I also enjoy reading thrillers and such, and when I usually write it goes something along the lines of “people asking other people about third…[Read more]

@scripter-of-kingdoms Oh, I’ve never used Google Meet before but I’m willing to give it a try! Though I must warn you, I am quite busy, so if I can’t make it, don’t bother trying to shift the schedule for me. My schedule is wack.

Hey there! Welcome to Kingdom Pen! I’m Kathleen and am also a part of the seventeen gang.
Your favorite books and authors are some of my favorite as well! I’m currently reading Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, and have been wanting to read Ann of Green Gables for awhile now.
All your work in those companies sound really…[Read more]

Oh, that makes total sense. I’ve had those very feeling myself when finally finish a project, but I’ve never known quite the words to describe it until I read your reply. It’s almost like a closing of a very personal and meaningful chapter of a life you’ve never lived. It’s really interesting, fulfilling and even a bit said all…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12 Hey, congratulations!
Research…I usually Google, but sometimes it gets a bit tricky. Wikipedia is usually helpful, but then there are specific things I want…Like one time I wanted to find out what life is like in Chinese high schools but then I realised I would have to Google everything in Chinese to reach that side of the…[Read more]

@kathleenramm I also love the unpredictability. I love opening up a notebook with some semi-coherent thoughts and wondering, “Let’s see where we go today!”
But also, writing with plot is actually really fun, soothing, and relaxing. It’s great to have a roadmap, and sure, some things will be unexpected. Especially when I’m plotting. “I didn’t know…[Read more]

What do you look forward to most when you get to write?
For me, it is the unpredictable aspect of writing. Writing never goes the way I plan or expect which always makes it so exciting.I may not write a ton (or any words for that matter) each time I go to write, but as long as I give myself enough time to sit, think, and daydream, I always learn…[Read more]

@gracie-j Of course!
@joy-caroline Nice…I have no idea how I look from my sister’s perspective…
@issawriter7 XD Imagine that. But I do have many second cousins which I don’t see often. Since they’re in another hemisphere.
@nova21 (Lol my younger sister is also my alpha reader/professional roaster who tears everything I write apart XD) I…[Read more]

@issawriter7 Ah, most people I know either have one or they have like 2 who are 10 years older than them…
@gracie-j Lol I thought the same at some point. I think I’ll stick with 3 or 4 for now.
