“No, I don’t. What are they?” He glanced around. He was perfectly fine carrying this fellow for another six hours or so. What was bothering him was the fact that he wasn’t sure where to go, and he also had a feeling that it was going to draw attention.

Celarent sprinted to the center and grabbed three balls, before launching himself upward. The game seemed pointless, but he couldn’t deny the appeal of whipping balls at people’s heads. He flung two balls on the heads of his unsuspecting enemies, and then dove at Marcel with the last one.

Marcel narrowly dodged. A boy, the wind-controller from the previous period, had already taken to the air. It made sense to place the flying students in opposition to each other. “Celarent! You don’t want me to follow you up there, do you?”

“They’re… exactly what they sound like. Just set me down in that one over there. It will look less weird than you carrying me.”
Rory did, and Dante tried his best to not let any pain show while moving. He settled into the seat and looked around until he figured out how to unlock the breaks. The chair rolled forward a little bit.
“There. See? Now you can push me.”

“Push you? If you’re sure…..” He stared in confusion for several moments. Then, bracing his hands against the back of the chair, he gave it a shove and let go, waiting to see what would happen.

Oof… Celerant just put Viktor in an awkward place. His deep sense of justice won’t like that. XD

He was going to have a headache. Not from a strike or anything, but from this whole unruly ordeal.
“Great job!” He passed a ball to a lanky kid with the aim of a sniper. The kid nodded and pegged another opposing team member. Of course, the ball was hurting toward them in a second. Viktor ducked out of the way, and was glad to find Lois nearby.
“You see our flying kid hit tha head?”
Lois adjusted his glasses. His expression creased into a frown.
Viktor gritted his teeth.
It made strategic sense to leave the situation unattended. His old foster family would probably laugh at him for this. But he was not laughing.
He caught a ball and lobbed it toward Celerant.
“Here! And no more heads or you’re out. Accident or not!”

The chair moved down the sidewalk a couple yards before slowly rolling to a stop. Dante turned to see Rory’s puzzled expression, and then burst out laughing. Then he doubled over, holding his side.
“Heh, ow, hehe… there’s no way that wasn’t a bit,” he said, barely managing to hold back more laughter. “Seriously?”
Rory still looked confused.
“Okay, Mr. Literal. Use the handles. Walk while you’re pushing. And don’t let go.”

Lois turned away from his short interaction with Viktor, to see a teammate go down with a ball to the face. He looked to where the ball came from, and saw Felicity, standing near the front of her team. She winked at him, then threw two more balls in quick succession, one at him and one at Viktor. Lois dodged.
Eddie
Eddie was doing very well. She was a quick, small target, who could weave through the chaos with ease. At one point, something quickly brushed against her tail as she was running across the court. She ignored it, until some self appointed referees from the other team started yelling from the sidelines.
“You’re out!”
“You got hit!”
“Hey, little girl! You’re out!”
Mr. Nelson blew his whistle and motioned to her. She jogged over. The game continued behind her.
“They’re wrong,” Eddie told him breathlessly. “Tails don’t count!”
“I’m afraid they do count, unfortunately. Still technically a body part.”
She opened her mouth to argue more, but stopped herself, and instead walked off to go pout on the bleachers. Her tail lashed angrily. She glared at it.

He blinked. Shrugged. Life was confusing. Why did people say things they didn’t mean? He moved behind the chair on wheels and grabbed the handles, carefully, he began to push it down the sidewalk. “Where are we going?”

DanteDante was silent for a moment. Now that he thought about it, he really was running low on safe places he could stay.
“I guess… I could hide in a corner of that basement for a few more days. Try to sleep this off.”

@ellette-giselle I’m still too tired to roleplay, but I was messing with a random quote generator earlier with our characters and some of them were pretty great
