Mwahaha… It is supposed to be, just not exactly in the normal sense. He is dying in this scene, but *spoiler* he makes it through. Good! It has to get my readers’ attention and hopefully shake them.
This is actually pulling up some writing struggles on my side. The overarching theme of this book is hope, beyond reason, beyond the…[Read more]

“Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
She’s here! Welcome to the Kingdom of Pen!
*Hands you an Oreo*
I have yet to find a Jonathan Parks episode to listen to, but as soon as I do I will tell you what I think of it.
I don’t think I’ve ever asked you this question, so: Do you like jellybeans? I don’t like or dislike them.

*Comes flying in through the window*
It’s YOU!!!!!! You’re here!!!!
*Rains hugs and Oreos*
Honestly though, at first I didn’t recognize you. It took reading through your posts and seeing Adventures in Odyssey and Jonathan Park to connect the dots. XD (then I felt a little silly, because of course your user name is Sunny.)
Welcome…[Read more]

Is it my turn, or does Mila get a chance?
By the by, Emilysf, do you know what the name Mila means when it has an Old Slavic base?

Aahhhhhhh!!!!!!! Alwin, my dear lad…*sigh* That sounds awesome for a first chapter; definitely something I could get hooked on.
Honestly I’ve always envisioned your books to be more YA than middle grade, so don’t worry about that. Your themes will be more powerful to an older age group anyway.
Yes, it’s Mikkel! Thank you,…[Read more]

That’s awesome! I love it. Especially the wording.
I can hardly wait to read the rest!!!

Not entirely sure who to tag, but here goes!
@emilysf @godlyfantasy12 @elishavet-pidyon
This is part of a scene I’ve had running through my head. It’s from the serie’s last book, Seas of Fury, which is set about 800 Years later, so the technology is way more advanced than in the first two books.
Fog swirled around him, penetrated by something…

Wow. Where did you find that picture?! It’s a good one in it’s own right, and I’d have to agree that it resembles Riker perfectly.
From the names of those songs, they would work very well!

@godlyfantasy12 @koshka @joy-caroline
@anyone-else-that-is-interested.
Okay, so I have started the rough draft for the first book in my Kingdom of Shadows series. (The one with Alwin and the rest) I do need help on the editing, but since it’s rough draft I’d just mostly like to hear all y’all’s thoughts on it.
By the way, untill I wrote it, I’d…[Read more]

RIKER!!!!!
That’s awesome. And it makes so much sense. Having his father come from an abusive background is perfect. It will be soooo beautiful to see play out!
*On edge of seat*
(By the way, have you ever read To Love a Broken Winged Angel? by LaJoyce Martin? It doesn’t have anything to do with your setting, except for the…[Read more]

Ok, so I only just got on here after a week, and here is this!!! Oh, I love these characters!
And the history nerd inside me is about to run up the walls.
Riker…. Leon…. Y’all both need a good hug. And God. Wow.
By the way, I love that Riker is a former SS. I’m so, so, SO glad Leon forgives him- for both their sakes I am…[Read more]

Oh yes! I do love seeing how much can be related in just a few words. It’s one thing that make poetry such a fun challenge.
(The baby shoes story is heartbreaking.)
I think some of my favorites are from the Bible (Like “God shall provide himself a sacrifice”. Can I get an amen?), but of course I didn’t write them.
I’ll have to get…[Read more]

Yes! I’m sorry it’s been a while. I’m at church camp, and haven’t had much time or energy left for the forum.
However, I’ll get something up in the next hour or two.

This will definitely stay here!
And now so many questions are piling up in my head that I’d better not start asking any more. The forum may not be able to take it. XD
