@gwyndalf-the-wise , I don’t know if you’re interested in reading more of my WIP. If you don’t want me to tag you so you can read at your own pace, just let me know. But if you do want to stay updated, let me know that as well. 🙂

Really interesting opinion!
I think I can agree with you on that. Except that I think Harry Potter is young adult fiction/fantasy. In my mind, YA is like (11)12-18. (I may be wrong on the actually definition) At that point, I feel that young adults will be able to make up their own minds and not be so easily convinced of things.…[Read more]

Oooh!! I love both ideas! They both seem really interesting.
But I think I have to agree with Power and Freedom. I think the first one is the best!

Those are great choices!! I think my favorite character is a tie between Maraly and Armulyn the Bard! Oh, I love Gammon (The Florid Sword) too!
Ooo, caramel! My favorite too!

Yes!! I love frappes too!! Specifically caramel ones. Though caramel in any coffee, (iced, hot, or frozen) is great! And my preference for how I want my coffee changes depending on my mood (or the weather XD).
I’ve probably played piano since first grade as well!
A baby dragon would be pretty awesome!! 😉
Yes, I LOVE The Wingfeather S…

@freedomwriter76 , Hello!! So nice to meet someone who enjoys one of my favorite genres! Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it! If I get a first chapter/demo done, I might post it for edits XD
@power Fear not, for my romance is concocted in manageable doses that are typically sidelined to the plot. However, thine rant and opinions are duly…[Read more]

@gwyndalfthewise, thanks for the welcome! Yes! I enjoy studying the history of modern medicine and medical practices, which might not always be everyone’s forte, but I find it super cool. My co-written project is about two sisters in a medieval-type realm (I write for one and my co-writer writes for one). One of them leaves and goes off to sword…[Read more]

So neat to see that your grandma was an RN! Mine was too, and yes, that’s my major in college 😉 So my dream job is actually being a midwife, which is what I hope to pursue with further school (and you know, an author some day!). I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever been asked my favorite bird! I think maybe a falcon. Hope to read some…[Read more]

Hello there!
Hey, listening to music is the fun part! Let’s see…I love Narnia, Redwall, Lord of the Rings, Wingfeather Saga, and Ranger’s Apprentice! As far as genres go, I really love bluegrass music and fantasy movies (Princess Bride style ;). I think my favorite thing to write about is usually setting. I’m a huge fan of in-depth world…[Read more]

Hi @esther-c!
Oh, I’m totally a frappe girl most of the time, but I like hot and iced, too! What about you? I think my favorite animal might be a rabbit, but I’m never quite sure. I think it’s safe to say that piano is my first love; I’ve played since first grade and taught lessons too! And hmm…I would dearly love a baby dragon for a pet…[Read more]

@freedomwriter76 They are. Have you looked up pictures of what they look like as adults? Kinda cool!
@theloonyone Yep. I almost called them “my boys” until the rational part of my brain is like “they’re not yours, they belong to Lucasfilm!!!”
Ah, the problems of living with a fanfiction brain…..
@loopylin Oh, ok.

Hi Caitlyn/@booksandbeakers!
I like short stories too. Hmm…favorite book is so hard. I think overall, I’d have to say Redwall. My current favorite is a medical/historical fiction novel called The Girl in His Shadow.
I think my favorite music groups are Andrew Peterson and The Arcadian Wild! Sadly, I am not very athletic, but I do enjoy target sho…[Read more] -
