Aw, I love that memory 🙂 It reminded me of my own origami memory a long time ago. A boy from my old church, who had a chronic disease, had made an origami dragon (he was great at it), and I still have it actually.
And so when I read that, I had to read the story you said you wrote and girl, that was nothing short of beautiful. The…[Read more] -

Oh, wow. What kind of car was that? If you do end up writing this into a story I bet you could make up some really cool explanation, like… alien car, fairy car, super-high-tech-rich-guy’s car, I don’t know. XD
But I can imagine it being a really fun scene.
Haha! It would would be really fun to write about a…[Read more]

Hello friends!
I hope everyone is doing well <3
So, long story short, I’m attempting to “get back into” reading. It’s been a long while since I’ve read regularly for pleasure (I blame being an English major in college–it’s difficult to find the mental space for a “fun” book when you’re floundering through various reading lists, you see), and I…[Read more]

Thank you so much for helping me accomplish mission writing-british-without-accidentally-swearing!
Honestly, thanks so much. This is a very awkward topic so I’m glad someone took pity on my naïveté, lol.

Hi there!! @nanisnook
When I’m stuck on a scene, I’ll usually brainstorm out the problem. If something feels off or I’m really not getting into the scene, it really helps to dig down to the root of the issue before continuing. If I try to write through something like that, the problem will often show through my writing.
Jumping ahead can be the…[Read more]

Nice to meet you too!
Favs… LOTR: Gandalf, Hunger Games: Johanna, and Star Wars: Darth Vader… or maybe R2?
The first time I remember writing a story was when I was… idk, 6? To be clear tho, my writing habits were extremely sporadic until I turned 13 a few years ago. I don’t know if I even could…[Read more]

Hi Chelsea it’s nice to meet you! I’ve mostly been focused on fantasy at the moment but a lot of my story ideas fall into the other fiction categories including Historical Fiction. One of my majors is history so I also really love historical fiction. Recently I’ve been reading Panic by Lauren Oliver, the tv show based on the book…[Read more]

I’m from Canada, ehhhhh
I know that isn’t even how you use “eh” (what? we totally don’t cover “eh” in grammar class) but I feel it’s mandatory to stick it in there if you ever mention Canada. Yup, I’m from Ontario, where there be lots of trees, and I do see moose occasionally.
Ooh! But Australia is awesome.
