@seekjustice Ooh! 😀 When am I going to get to read this “secret project”?
Knitting is your thing, right? Is that how you made the covers? Hot water bottles are amazing. But isn’t it summer there? 😛
Oh, Come From Away should be awesome.  I’ve never seen it, but my parents saw it in New York last year and they said it was very good.…[Read more]

Sounds cozy. 🙂
I read your post where you said you’d read a hundred books this year, and…wow. I really need to get back into reading. I realized that’s why I haven’t been able to write: I just haven’t read enough books lately.  How’s your writing been going? Have you written any short pieces lately?
Yeah, things have been…[Read more]

Salute from the past! 😀
How’s the future turning out for you? 😉
I’m doing great. It’s been a really crazy year, but still, there were some wonderful things that happened as well. 🙂
How are you?

So as you’ve probably heard a million times by authors, is the importance of reading as a writer. But I’ve actually have learned way more about writing by talking about books I’ve read than actually reading the book. And besides, talking about books is probably one of a writer’s favorite things to do, even without all the benefits of improving…[Read more]

Is it bad that I’ve never written romance in any form before? I love creating deep, meaningful, and complicated relationships, but never romance. Probably because I don’t read romance often, and I’m only seventeen so romance isn’t something I think about, like, ever. XD
But I can see how writing romance would be difficult.…[Read more]

@gracie-j I don’t remember which one I preferred, out of the two. I really need to reread them, lol. I think I read them… prior to keeping track of my reading, it looks like, so at least four years ago.
I didn’t watch a whole lot of Disney princess movies growing up. I watched a lot of other Disney movies, but the princesses weren’t a big…[Read more]

@seekjustice I wrote a post and then when I edited it it vanished. O-o
My mom was really careful when I was little about anything that featured daughters rebelling against their dads. She didn’t let me watch The Little Mermaid for the same reason (which I don’t mind; I’m not a fan of Ariel now that I have watched the movie, lol). Once I was a…[Read more]

@seekjustice My mom was really careful when I was younger about things that featured daughters rebelling against their dads. I wasn’t allowed to watch The Little Mermaid for the same reason (which I don’t mind; I’m not a huge fan of Ariel now that I have watched the movie, lol). Once I was a little older (10-12-ish, maybe?) she thought I’d be…[Read more]

So my friend’s and I’s styles are different; she is constantly making a fantasy world and I am trying to make it more realistic. But this is not a setback, in fact, it balances us out perfectly! I would say the best thing we have done for co-writing is bought two notebooks; we each take one home and whenever a scene,…[Read more]

@gracie-j @devastate-lasting @scoutfinch180 @seekjustice @godlyfantasy12
It’s really fun to see how each of us likes to describe our writing process. And although we each have our own unique spin on the three words, there’re also a lot of interesting similarities. As Gracie pointed out, we all tend to procrastinate, get distracted easily, be…[Read more]

I’m in the middle many different WIP, so my brains telling me, “focus on finishing what you’ve started Kat” but then my heart is like, “Ey, it’s ’bout time we set off on the roaring seas! Join hands with MGPN!”
