The premise is basically: Special boy and girl independently strike out from all they’ve ever known, and discover they’re needed to save what they previously left, and the future they were hoping for.(via defeating classic bad guy)
I promise, it’s not as corny as it seems in text, lol.
I haven’t really considered what made me…[Read more]

I love revamping old stories. Because you already have the characters and the story, so you can just focus all your energy on shaping all the pieces into a really interesting story.
What are you most looking forward to redoing in that story?
Well, I mean we didn’t always get along haha. When we were younger there…[Read more]

So I recently had two or three ideas that really need to go in my WIP. The problem is that I’m already like a quarter into it. They’re pretty big parts of it (the main character’s father is dead, for example) so I’m trying to decide whether I should go back and add them in now, since they’ll affect the story later on in pretty big ways, or just w…[Read more]

@scripter-of-kingdoms That’s still cool. I’ve done similar with some of my characters–the idea for them came from a character from, say, Star Wars or Marvel, but I changed their name or personality (or both) and made them my own character.

@scripter-of-kingdoms That’s pretty awesome how you got an idea for an original story out of a fanfic!

Hey ya’ll,
As you can see by the title, I’m trying to start a Portfolio/Blog. I’m using Wix to host it. Does anyone have any tips or advice on making an engaging website, and what it should/shouldn’t include? Also, when you have a blog, I’ve read that you should stick to one topic, is that true?? Or can I write about anything I think people would…[Read more]

Okey-doke, guys, so I’m a pantser. I started out my novel with pretty much no idea of what was going to happen when, where or to whom, and now I’m at the point (eight chapters in, actually) that I really, really need to know what my world looks like. (Kudos to all those people that know this stuff starting out, by the way.) So… how do you guys…[Read more]

The title says it all, folks. I just thought it might be fun to compare what your character says to see if the dialogue truly matches their personality or not.
So I’ll share mine first!
MC is Dylan, who is stubborn, quiet, and strong-willed. A little self-protective. Lmk if his dialogue fits his personality.

@gracie-j @writerlexi1216 Thank you guys so much!!!
I have an update, but we don’t know if it’s good or bad yet. The hospital was so full of patients with covid that she couldn’t get in. They put her n oxygen and sent her home saying she has a virus. Could you pray for my uncle? He's in the hospital and has covid and pneumonia.
I’m soooo sorry I didn’t see your message!!! I will DEFINITELY pray with you!! How is he doing?? @mkfairygirl
@daisy-torres It’s alright. 🙂 Thank you!! He’s out of the hospital now but is still experiencing symptoms and having trouble breathing.
@mkfairygirl I’m glad to hear he’s out of the hospital!! My grandma just got it recently and was experiencing a lot of aching in her joints. If he has that, he may wanna try keeping himself warm, as that stops inflammation *cough* or so @elfwing says XD But it definitely helped my grandma with that. Also the doctor told my grandma to keep moving…[Read more]

I do have some tips, I was sick for over 6 weeks with long covid and almost hospitalized, and although I didn’t have pneumonia, my lungs were pretty bad.

@elfwing Awww girll you still don’t have your taste and smell back? Poor thing!! I read several articles online where people were able to get it back by stimulating those areas of their brains! @daisy-torres My mom has tried the essential oil trick but all it did was clear my sinuses haha. What happens when people lose their sense of smell and taste to covid, is that the inflammation sometimes causes damages the nerve endings, affecting smell and taste.
