Ugh, that’s annoying. Yeah, I don’t know what else would work. 🤷🏻♀️

Oh, I don’t know. There is a button at the bar at the top of the post box that looks like a tiny chain. You might be able to use that to add a link in. You can put a link to text with that button too.

Um…
Oh man, I wasn’t even thinking of any in particular when I said that, oopsWell, you could think about the things people are struggling with today. Stuff like—what the Bible says about the value of life, racism, what truth is, etc. I guess it depends on what you feel comfortable or informed enough to post about, but also…[Read more]

Nice to officially meet you! I write a lot of contemporary/historical fiction, but I also have a blog (although I don’t post on it very frequently). I’ve done a little bit of journalism and I enjoy photography, too.

Ditto to pretty much everything Esther said! I’d also love to check out your blog if you share it!
Also, I don’t think we’ve officially met on here. I joined back in September, so I still consider myself somewhat new, although I guess by now I’m really not lol.

Hey!! It has been a while!
Your blog sounds awesome!!
Umm… Personally I like seeing tough or controversial topics and how Christians should respond to them, but if you posted about that or not would totally depend on what you’re comfortable writing about and posting.
I also enjoy when fellow Christians share what they’ve…[Read more] -

Now that I think about it, I’m really stuck on the edits so I might as well share what I’ve got here and see if you guys can’t help me get unstuck. I’ve made a few small changes that you may notice, but the main thing that I’m struggling with is settling on an ending.
I’ve written several endings that all have slight variations in words and…[Read more]

Once upon a time, a fellow was excited to ask his lady. He’d prayed, talked to her folks, and prayed some more, and everything had the green light. He didn’t have a ring, but he had a gal and it was time. It was 4 in the morning, though. So he waited. 4:30… 5:00… 5:30… 6:00 he went over to her house. Now he didn’t quite…[Read more]

@light-warrior-pen If you’re going for a sweet proposal, and you have your characters well developed, have the guy plan something that would be special to the girl for reasons that only they are aware of, or bring in the location of their first date or something. Idk the context of your story or their relationship, but it’s always more special if…[Read more]

I wanna say watch proposal videos but search results for that might be a little weird, idk lol. I would say try to make it specific to the characters –if you can, maybe give them an inside joke or something like that, or maybe one of them quotes something the other said earlier, if that makes sense. I love scenes like that 😊

Ooh, thats a hard question! I am not really sure what to expect so I dont think I can give any good advice 🙂 I would guess, though, it really depends on your characters as of dramatic/action packed proposal or calm/sweet one! I would also guess there would be a lot of emotion in that scene. Hope that helps!

Here it is!
Before I could think any further, I collapsed on a bed, and fell asleep. I had a dream, one that filled me with pure happiness. It was the story of how my parents met. The story was told many times and each time, mom could not ever stop laughing and dad still felt a little…[Read more]

Endings are tricky, aren’t they? @light-warrior-pen ? Sometimes they come naturally and effortlessly, but most of the time they take a lot of staring at the WIP, then staring off at nothing, then staring at the WIP again, then writing gibberish, then…

Here is a short description on how my main characters parents met, do you like it? Does it seem real?
Susanna (Anna) and Blake Smith are the parents to all the Smith children. They met at the grocery store in High school when Blake, who was stocking the shelves at the time, was high up…[Read more]
