Hello! My name is Liberty Durmaz. You’re not related to Frodo Baggins, by any chance, right? Because I know a Frodo Baggins. (for real, though, I have a friend who loves Frodo Baggins, so she uses his name for a profile, like you.)
So, I’m guessing for you it’s Lotr over Narnia? (I am a die-hard Narnian. Not saying sorry.) But I enjoy LOTR too. Especially Faramir.

Aw…thanks so much. I love what you said about “unexpected joy”. It warmed my heart. I see God’s hand in this trial, even though sometimes I forget about it when I’m focusing on myself and not Christ, and I am hoping and trusting that He is using everything for our good.

It’s neat to have someone new! If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t worry. I felt the same when I first joined.
My name is Liberty. I’m usually not that active on KP, but as I’ve recently started a Substack for my family’s ministry and write every week, I’ve been getting more into all the writing life. I’m a saved-by-grace Christian, with four sisters and one brother. I love to read and write and ride horses and train dogs and watch/critique films with my siblings. (I don’t have a horse…yet) I love history, especially American history.
A house with a character…that’s very interesting. And I love your Scottish names.
My highest word count for one single project is around 22k. But that was for a story I wrote years ago, when I was only interested in animal stories. Since then, I’ve yet to write a full novel. I’m currently working on prepping my first novel for Jesus Writing Month (an event that replaced NaNoWriMo).
