Mitchel Kemp was drafted into the military, but he doesn’t want to be here, especially as his father had been killed in combat leaving him his little sister’s legal guardian.

Sounds fun! I’ve never read any dystopian (it tends to be a dark and morbid genre, two things I avoid in literature), but if I ever do I’ll have to look into your book first. Congratulations on The Reflections!

Ooo, y’alls’ characters sound awesome!
(Uh, Elishavet, I was totally seeing William with blond hair blue eyes. The name makes me think Saxon [even though it’s Norman])
So, here is aÂ
hopefullybrief description of the six main characters for this series (two for each book).Zlatan (book1); black furred…[Read more]

Hi, and pleased to meet you!
Persuasion is my absolute favorite J. A. novel. Yes, I like it better than Pride and Prejudice. Ann always seemed to me to have a much stronger true character than Elizabeth. I like her other books, but that one…

Poor Amy! I don’t know why, but every time I think about her artist talent, the foot and plaster incident comes to mind. When I first read LW I was more like Jo, but now I don’t line up with any of them really. *Shrug* Jo’s lines were my favorite part of the book.
Thank you from my former self. She would have been thrilled to…[Read more]

Ooo, that would be awesome! My father has gone overseas as a missionary’s assistant, and I’m heard they’re beautiful.
So, my signature is sort of a joke. Literally translated it means: “I speak English. Glorify God!” (Or thank God as the context here implies).

Ugh, yes. That is one sad thing about being American; we never had much of a medieval age. Of course, we also never had Roman occupation so there is that. =]
Ah yes Emma. (How did I forget about her?) She does become a side MC in the last book. S. D. Smith did a good job with his characters.
Hmm, I think I would also like a…[Read more]

For writing, I prefer researching earlier centuries such as the 9th-15th. Once firearms enter the scene I lose much of my interest. However, I do like researching and recreating clothing from the Victorian age.
Helmer, Whitby, Harmony, and Wilfred. I do like the MCs, especially Heather, but some of those side characters are…[Read more]

Tag me if you post it on KP! My favorite character was always Beth, but Jo definitely comes next, and Laurie’s somewhere up there too. Jane Eyre is interesting. Some of my family love it, and I enjoyed it, but it’s not one of my favorites.
No trouble worth mentioning. Actually, thank you for a good laugh. I drew this two years…[Read more]

Welcome to Kingdom Pen! I am Koshka, a homeschooled nerd who writes Medieval Fantasy and sometimes historical fiction. I also happen to be INFP-T.
You asked for questions? Well then, here we go! (My answers in here)
Have you ever drawn a character from a classic? (I’ve drawn Hanna from Jane Eyre)
If you could have any animal,…[Read more]

Hello, I am Koshka, a somewhat prolific, if cautious, devourer of books, historical enthusiast, and general homeschooler. I write Medieval Fantasy, sometimes historical fiction, and a smattering of poetry. I also like to draw (when I have time) and talk about books (if I can find someone to listen).
Ooo, I love…[Read more]

Yay!
Ugh, especially when you know about a specific topic which isn’t all that hard to research. One which some authors consistently include the modern idea of it when it wasn’t like that at all! (Ugh!)
Hmm, so maybe something to do with the themes.

It was rather enjoyable. May your characters be obedient to your whims and lively on paper.
I don’t know if it is common, or perhaps something doofy that happens to us. *Shrug*

Did you like “The Raven”? I haven’t read any Poe. I don’t know if Ayn Rand is old as once again I haven’t read. I tend to avoid morbid stuff.
