I’ve read Jane Eyre, I own both the actual book and the manga classic edition. I enjoy the story lots! Jane is a great character, and her relationship with Mr. Rochester is so sweet … and I loved the part at the start with her and Helen, as well. Made me quite sad/touched when I first read it.
St. John kinda annoys me, tho…[Read more]

Ooo, how fun!!! Thanks for tagging me, @devastate-lasting!
Aaaaaaand, since we can talk about anything, plz tell me someone here has read Jane Eyre and loves it as much as I do!!!! (It took serious self control to not put that entire last part in all caps…😂)
(Side note: @power, that was gloriously fun to read… XD)

(*cringes* I am very late to the party…)
Ooo… This sounds like it will be a fascinating story!!! Retellings are so fun. XD
I’ve dabbled in retellings a little bit, but as I never finished my project (it was a retelling of The Little Mermaid called Rebel.), I don’t have a whole lot of advice for this particular genre. When it comes to…[Read more]

It really is phenomenal. The scene where Louisa falls is amazing, too, I agree. 🙂 Do you read much Jane Austen?

This literally happened to me a few minutes ago.
I was being silly, and holding my Mum’s morning tea muffin aloft on a plate like Rafiki holds up Simba, while chanting The Circle of Life. I caught Mum’s attention as I held said plate aloft with two hands, and she gave me look like — as said by Adrian Plass — I’d announced a pig was d…[Read more]

These snippets describe the personality of one of my favorite characters pretty well, if I do say so myself. 😉
His hair was a disheveled mess, and it took only a glance to perceive that he was positively irate. “Duxus!” he snapped. “Do you realize what time it is?”
“Yes, sir, I do…”
“It’s moonhigh! Midnight!”
“I know that, sir…”
“And you…

Gotcha. (Hope we didn’t spoil anything for you… *cringes*) He’s such an iconic character… What would the series be without him…
Last books are my favorites a lot of the time, too! 🙂

Thank you!
Thanks! Yes, I’ve had some people (most people) tell me my names are impossible to pronounce. I think I need to include a pronunciation guide at the start of the book. XD.
I’m sorry to hear about the tragedy. I pray that God gives you healing in this troubled time.

What if Rumplestiltskin wasn’t an old man? What if he was a younger man? What if it was a woman named Rumplestiltskin? What if he asked for a firstborn daughter instead of a son?
Just throwing ideas, please feel free to ignore all of them. I just find what if questions fun.😊

This is fun! And I’ve really enjoyed everyone else’s answers. @abigail-m , I can totally relate to Fitz Vacker thing! I love that book series, but Fitz made me so mad in the later few books. I’m definitely in teem Foster-Keefe, or Keephie, depends what we’re calling it.
Onto the questions and my answers!
