If your have any difficulties on names (which is something I agonize over with my characters), the Wikipedia has a great page called:
Writing Adolescent Fiction/Character Names
They have the option to choose different origins, nativities and time eras for boys or girls names. Like say you wanted a Greek name for a boy, all…[Read more]

Your welcome:) I do the same thing in writing. I had put TSW aside for a little while at one point to write my short story EverHappens. But now that that finished, I’m back with writing my WIP. Sometimes working on another project will even generate more ideas for your main novel:)

Hi! It went pretty well, (I guess I’m no Davy Crockett), but it was fun. I read a lot of survival books, thence me and my brother built a fortalice in the woods, made fires and made ourselves walking sticks. We only got semi lost without a map once, which was good:)
But the no wi-fi part was a little difficult, I survived though (…[Read more]

Sorry, it took so long for me to get here, but you should TOTALLY TRY OUT THIS NEW STORY IDEA!!!!!! It’s good to take breaks from projects and write other things!! And whether or not it’s something you can or can’t get published doesn’t really matter! I’ve written tons of things I don’t plan to publish! Was those things a waste of…[Read more]

This is a GREAT TOPIC!!! Even though, I don’t write Christian fiction, I’m hoping in some small way, that maybe my stories could change lives. I’m not sure how God’s gonna do that yet, but I’m just gonna let Him steer the way!!! But I LOVED hearing your thoughts, as always, on these things!!!!! I don’t really have any answers to…[Read more]

That is incredibly true and you put it magnificently. It’s true that I’m not a type or category of believer. I’m a Christian:)

I’d love to do this, but I won’t be able to do it until next week at the latest. If you want to start before that, depending on how many days you guys do it, maybe I could jump in a bit later? If not, that’s fine.
Usually, I’m a Night Writer, but I think this would be extremely fun. -

Those bookmarks are simply beautiful! I love how you were able to format their original collages into bookmarks and still be equally as stunning.

I love this topic:) Many years ago, I used to think that I couldn’t serve God by writing unless I only wrote sermons (Narnia helped me with that one), but there is a great article on KP called: Three Ways to Write Christian Fiction For a Secular Audience.
I agree, how as writers, our stories can alter lives. -

Hi! You can call me Abigail and I may be a little late saying ‘welcome!’… but anyway, welcome!
My favorite books are: The Bible, Dark Horse, Narnia and a huge assortment of others. I could go on for a while, but I should get to work on my ‘to read’ list:)

So first off, I completely understand your dilemma. In fact, it has been one of my top (if not my number one) problem that I face a writer.
I had a novel that I’d been working on for six months. It was a fantasy and I had had my pen pal and a few relatives beta reading it for awhile. I was getting a little winded in writing it, w…[Read more]
