Awesome topic!!!
First off, I have two villains. The POV one takes a long time to get villain-y, but the leader one was born evil.
So for the POV one, I’d do #5. It’d catch her off guard and she’s more vulnerable to truth when she’s stunned.
But for the leader one, #1: I’d call the authorities ASAP. No telling what he mig…[Read more]

I would try to steal his epic hat, but after I did so, he would probably steal my beanie baby collection, And lock me in a Cheeto factory.
But before all that, I would suggest that he buy the Bounty paper-towels over the Scott brand, because it’s the quicker-picker-upper.

@kathleenramm *spends too much time deciding which villain and also which one would be most fun*
For this guy I would give him money and then call the authorities. Not that he’s poor but maybe his world uses different currencies. I’m not sure.
I call the authorities to more quickly help him ease his burden of guilt; besides, he’s probably really…[Read more]

Actually, it’s really helpful for worldbuilding, in case anyone has trouble with that. It’s really fun and creative, too!

I’ve never read this book (I have to get on that!) but these are great and I feel like we should make this a thing, like whenever someone is doing a book launch, we supply the internet with memes! haha

@joy-caroline I use Lucida Bright for my fantasy stuff, and strangely enough, get a lot of compliments on how it looks! XDDDD For my crime novel I’m using Californian FB, and for my backburnered project, Book Antiqua. 🙂

Wow there’s a lot of good inspiration here.
I was prolly like 9 when I thought up the idea for my current biggest project. I was on my way to the library with my family when the song Kings and Queens by Audio Adrenaline (old song) came on the radio. For some reason that song struck inspiration in me and I began to write my first…[Read more]

Lol. I don’t know why, but I’ve seen a lot of people online who say not to use writing prompts… I have no idea why, but I use them anyway because they are AMAZING! 😉

@joy-caroline Great question! I use Times New Roman and pretty much nothing else…it actually might be a good idea to switch up the font I use, since I’ve used Times New Roman through all of college and it might not be helping my brain be creative, since it’s ingrained in my memory as an academic font lol

@joy-caroline I use the default on my computer, called calibri body, for my stories, but I love using whatever font I can find for my titles/chapter headings. (Also, I’ve never used comic sans–it’s too roundish and would work better for a graphic novel, which I can’t exactly create on Word, which is what I use to write.) I find that font easy to…[Read more]
