Thank you!! ❤️ I really like how it turned out.

Ugh, yes.
And I’m sure your characters are gonna be fine!
Thanks for the encouragement. So will/are your characters.
what exactly is scaring you? If you don’t mind my asking.
I don’t mind. It’s…[Read more]

Ok! (It’s just her name)
And like I said, this collage is really incomplete, especially since it doesn’t exactly capture all their culture, but I like it all the same.

I haven’t written anything…. *Wince*
But I have been reexamining characters. Which hurts because what I thought I’d figure out before now is still undecided.
I did write the opening for a little WIP I put down a long time ago. It’s a children’s novel about a group of squirrels on their journey to the fabelled country of…[Read more]

I made a collage for Alyona, but I don’t know if it’s done or not. I might still share it as is….
….hmmm…..
If I do, should it be the all English one, or the one with Hebrew? (Eishlagair is not Hebrew, but it’s not developed enough to use in a collage… Then of course there’s the keyboard problem. Eishlagair doesn’t use…[Read more]

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic The-Bad-Guys-With-No-Name Kinda Need A Name (just a little bit) in the forum Characters 2 years, 1 month ago
Ooooo, names! I love names. (Though they can be a pain at times.)
First, do you need a name for an organization/governing body of bad guys or specific people?
Second, what name pool/culture does your country have? For instance, are they kinda English-ish like with names like Winston, Audrey, Henry, Elizabeth, Collin, John,…[Read more]

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic I've started my draft, would you guys keep reading this story? in the forum Novel Critique Requests 2 years, 1 month ago
I just read through these and they’re awesome! I love these characters and their friendship dynamic.
A little curious about what happens next…
Especially considering the foliage there….
And this really fascinating character development you have going on….
And how you have left us completely in the dark….
And the…[Read more]

Oh! This discussion is great! XD I’ve only read the books too.
My favorite characters are, in order: Sam, Aragorn, Frodo, Pippin, Faramir, Merry, Legolas. (Insert long list of characters I can’t remember at the moment)
At least, I think that’s the order. It’s hard to decide. XD
Frodo is…[Read more]

Oh, I understand. His first book is definitely not on the same level as his others. It’s more childlike and a little too obvious. I’m so glad you kept reading, though!
However, while I understand many of the flaws of the book, I like it all the same. It’s not at all as good as his others, and it’s not my favorite (which is currently…[Read more]

Did you run it through some kind of painting filter?

Battle for castle Itter. … it was a battle where American and Wehrmacht troops joined together to save high profile French prisoners from the Waffen-SS’ clutches.
Weren’t the Wehrmacht German?
I thought it was really interesting! And great story inspiration. XD
Absolutely! I’m intrigued.

This is brilliant, thank you for the invitation.
I do historical sewing too. As of right now, I’m working on a lower class southern civil war reproduction. I’m still in the base layers, unfortunately.
But after this I want to do some Saxon kirtles and mantles SO BADLY. However, I think my biggest, farthest away, sewing dream is some…[Read more]

That’s fine! It does sound like him.
One thing though, the meetings are set for ever other school day, so Tuesday and Thursday. That’s so we can get some normal headed home for homework scenes in too. Of course, that can change if y’all want.

Good question! And I’m thrilled to echo @koshka and say ABSOLUTELY!
For example, Jessilyn Stewart Peaslee wrote retellings for both of those stories titles Ella and Finding Beauty in the Beast , both of which didn’t have magic. In fact, Ella is one of my favorite retellings of all time, and I’ve heard it as a recommendation for all t…[Read more]
