That’s amazing! I love art with a message, and something like that would be incredible. She has a valuable tool indeed!

Oh dear. Ok. I’ll take you up on that, even though I am now suspecting you don’t cry easily. XD

That’s fantastic. *arms arsenal*
Your examples make a lot of sense. If Aragorn had died, his character arc and the whole theme of restoration would just be swamped in a big dramatic Fading. As for Frodo, in the end of Two Towers we’re given a glimpse of what it would be like if he dies=d and Sam had to take the ring, but as the…[Read more]

That’s amazing! It’s wonderful what He has done or us. As the old song goes, “When I think of the goodness of Jesus,/ and all he has done for me, my soul cries out,/ Hallelujah, Thank God for saving me.”
I love how many different analogies there are in scripture for God and his relationship with us.
One of my recent favorites…[Read more]

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic Anyone else doing Crazy Editing Week? in the forum General Writing Discussions 11 months, 3 weeks ago
I’m registered to join! CWW was so fun and helpful that I signed up for CEW as soon as I saw it was open. I don’t have a ton to edit, but I have a lot of projects that I keep putting off finishing because they sound terrible. XD So I’m looking forward to this.
Also, it was so much fun to “invade” CWW as KeePers. In the huge numbers of…[Read more]

Aw, I love it! The colors are so cheerful and the lines are so clean… ♥️
Taking pictures of art is rough. It still looks great though!

Also, I signed up for Crazy Editing Week. It’s right after my school term ends, so I’m hoping to get some stuff done. XD
Is anyone else planning on doing it?

Yes!
I’m working over the summer, but it’s maintenance on a campground, so I expect to have an easier schedule than I now.

That’s vicious. And brilliant.

Dun dun duuuunnnn.
Nice! I really liked those last few chapters!
Notes…
Poor Julian. He’s a lonely little guy.
Night was falling fast and there was no shelter. They were hemmed in by high cliffs on either side, and the wind shrieked down the path.
This section made me think of Carahadras. Brrrrrrr.
…
Hmm. They seemed to…[Read more]

It’s digital art, which is definitely beyond me at best, so you get a gold star for that. ⭐!!
And now I can imagine him a bit better! You did a really good job capturing his character. I like it. 🙂

Eh, he’s just 17. You can call him boy for another few years without it being weird. XD
Deductions…
He’s gentle and tender hearted. He has a strong faith in God and tries to share it with his friends, if he has any.
He loves nature and animal, especially birds. He likes to draw the world around him, and maybe has a special notebook…[Read more]

Ok, that’s just beautiful! The pictures and messages are most of them sad/dark, but it’s so aesthetic that I keep coming back to look at it. You did such a good job bringing the different pictures together.
Love them both! The character claims do fit them very well.
Their stories are just… Sniff. I really want more Leon…[Read more]

That’s awesome! I can sympathize.
Some other question ideas:
Will Snoden and/or Hewson be in this next book?
When did he start writing stories?
What’s one writing habit to avoid?
Does he think his connection to the Zulu tribes inspire anything in Green Ember? If so, what?
Who was Wilfred’s first wife/family he lost?
Will there…[Read more]

@loopylin Speaking of wise women,
Mother: That guy… He looks like, like…
Us: Gandalf!
Mother: Yes!
Us: In a button down flannel shirt!
Mother: What is he doing at Brookshire’s?
(Really happened. We saw Gandalf walk out of a local grocery store dressed like a country bumkin. It was unnerving.)
Me*holding up cast*: You know, this is such…[Read more]

Oh my. Ok. Um…
We know what his favorite cookie is. 🤔
Ack, that’s a good question but my brain is blanking. Something with writing or his time in Africa…
Maybe which one if his characters is his favorite?
*Wonders if I wasted my hypothetical question* XD

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic Is there a trope you don't see very often that you love? in the forum Topic of the Week 11 months, 4 weeks ago
The wise fool!!!Where one character is expected to be foolish/silly and instead is incredibly wise. So, there’s a book, A Letter for the King, that took this trope literally, and is spectacular. In the book, Tirillo is the king’s fool, but he’s also secretly a paladin knight and has this incredible wisdom that shows up in the…[Read more]

Thank you! 😊
Thanks! It’s actually a joust of sorts. The prince and his companion were at the tilting yard with a seasoned knight. Something just went horribly wrong, and Deniz is going to try to stop a galloping horse.
