Tolkien’s world building is amazing, and most of the reason I like his books so much, and then Sam is just so endearing. (I do enjoy making people laugh. 😉)
Well, I may rant at some point, and it is nice to know that I will have a welcome ear, when I do. 🙂
I don’t know either, so I’m going to wait a little bit to see if anyone else knows the…[Read more]

Where would I put a topic about my WIPs, should I put them all in one, or make one for each?

Thank you, @unsung. We can be new members together, then! 🙂
It is. Thank you.
I’d say I go 95% into being totally engrossed and learned and addicted. It is very very close to obsession, heh. I probably am not an all out Tolkien fan, like buying Tolkien stuff all the time, but I do love love love to read the books, and even dare to really like…[Read more]

Hey!
I am Clare, despite the whole EmilySF thing. (That’s a name I want to write under once I actually begin publishing my WIPs.)
I don’t really know how to do an introduction thing, so I’ll just try to relate a few (hopefully helpful) things about me.
I am … many things. (Sorry. Today is kind of moody for me. It’s two years exactly since the…[Read more]

I think it’s by the Rick Riordan presents or whatever it’s called XD It’s a take on Mayan mythology, which I thought was pretty cool!!!
Chinese mythology would be awesome! I don’t know much about it, but I’d like to read a fantasy spin about it sometime!
PUFFINS!!!!! Yes!!!!

Aye!!! Another homeschooler! I’ve been homeschooling my whole life as well!
Hmm, you seem to have my problem! Planning out your entire series, family trees, every single quirk about your characters (even the background ones), and yet you stare at a page with a few sentences… Yeah, sorry. When you figure out the solution, you tell me…[Read more]

Does anyone ever see many insects in books??
Like butterflies, ants, beetles, millipedes, caterpillars (I know they’re butterflies, but I never hear about them in this form either), grasshoppers, ladybugs, bees, etc…
I’ve heard dragonflies, spiders (technically not an insect), and lightning bugs getting tons of attention. Especially…[Read more]
