Over Paul’s sister? I don’t usually read Biblical fiction (as it influences my memory) but I would read yours!
Well, I’m still writing my series, but I’ll try to answer your questions.
- Pinpoint a central theme to plant throughout the series. Each book should deal with/breath this theme. Next, find at least three (or however…

So, I’m trying to be brave enough to ask something on here. But before I do let me clarify;Â I do not think of myself as anything like a musician! I simply enjoy music, and wish to glorify God in any endeavors I make.
Now for my question:
I am teaching myself violin, and am struggling with my bowing. I can’t get a smooth transition between…[Read more]

@trajia-the-minstrel
You’re sister sounds like my best friend minus the broom 🤣 she totally glares at me when I mentioned killing off a character cuz I usually spoil everything to her (cuz who else can I spoil everything to?) 😂
She was real relieved when I decided not to kill of one of my charries in the current series I’m working on but ins…[Read more]

I understand. I was going to have a MIA, but when I couldn’t leave him gone I sacrificed his friend instead. (And now I’m having second thoughts again)

It does sound difficult! The Russian things I struggle with the most are word form, grammer, and spelling (but I struggle with that in English too, so…).
I know a Russian lady through BQ, (She loaned me the pre-school book.) But I only see her at BQ tournaments.
Question: Was the book a Korean college book, or a college Korean book?

Ah, English, that wonderful headache.
I’ve heard Korean is difficult. What do you think of it, and how are you learning?
I’m using Babbel, Duolingo, and a Russian preschool book.

@princessfoo while your not trying to have God as evident as Gracie, I think perhaps @gracie-j can help you some with this! Not sure what genre your in, but she writes more historic fiction, and while she has God more evident, she may can help you because hers isn’t fantasy and so she can show you how to portray God realistically without making H…[Read more]

@kathleenramm Oh, almost everything. That you had to follow prose conventions taught in school or plot outlines that followed a specific formula, that your character had to go through a very specific and obvious development, that you had to write something that followed all of these things with a reasonable and expected ending…
None of those…[Read more]

Oooooo, I’m glad you asked!!! Honestly, the first thing I would do is give the character internal questions. Like, if the character is worried about something, show the reader he/she asking the question to him/herself. Like how @scoutfinch180 did in the first two examples Scoutillus gave. Inner monologue can really go a long…[Read more]

Hahaha, that’s funny you should mention that about the antagonist thing cuz my sister and I were just talking recently about how villains are actually not something you have to put in your writing and how even things like nature can be an “antagonist” in stories, like survival fiction!
Anyway, for me, it was long, thorough…[Read more]
