Oh yes, I agree with your love-triangle opinions. I read the books a year after my brother, and he and I spent hours talking about them. We both agreed you know who’s plot disappearance was poorly done, and he thinks that Katniss shoulda ended up with him(as opposed to boy with the bread) and on that, I still can’t decide if Katniss…[Read more]

@joy-caroline oh bother! it ate my response again, now I can’t remember hahah
Anyhow, pretty much; if it works to make it into three, then do it. I made a 6 book series because I wanted to make a story about the lives of the people in my world. I ended book 1 with a cliffhanger that is (hopefully) suspenseful and emotional, and a major moment…[Read more]

For me it was that as in real life, the antagonist does not have to be a corrupt human or evil demon kind of thing; it could be anything.
Everyone has something in their life that is their ‘antagonist’, it may be a literal person being a pain in the butt, but it could be anything from financial problems to chronic pain to health…[Read more]

@kathleenramm I am so late to this topic, i haven’t been on here in over two weeks lol
Well my greatest strength? whew, I am not sure; probably making new worlds and ideas with every moment I am awake and not preoccupied with life, so… endless ideas that I can use in stories? XD
Weakness…

Hullo! Welcome!
Blue is beautiful, but I gotta lean toward yellow.
I’ve only read the first couple Penderwick books when I was younger. At the time, I was forced to read them for school, so I should give them a try again!
YAY I’m abt the nightmares hunger games gave me,(yes, I was a weak little child when I read them) Hunger Games…[Read more]

Thanks for the pronunciation lesson 😀
Sadly, I have to say I don’t know much IPA… which makes it kinda hard to read English-to-Korean dictionaries. Yea… I should really learn.
Are you planning on publishing your book in the future?
@Kosha
Korean was literally designed so it could be written and spoken easily and…[Read more]

I’ve never considered combining languages to make names, that’s cool! Tho, with my simple brain, if my OC’s had names like that, they’d be forgotten in a heartbeat 😛

Poor Rubin ;-; will be missed.
In Korean, literally everything (almost,) is spelled solely based on the way it sounds. So, thankfully, I don’t encounter too many spelling errors of my own.
Random question, does Russian have any loan-words?BQ? I am unfamiliar with this.
Whoops, I meant college Korean text book. A big…[Read more]

(*dances for joy* Seriously, just talking about my Biblical fiction trilogy makes me incredibly happy… XD)
So, with my trilogy about Simon Peter, I decided to break up the story based off of the pivotal moments in Peter’s life. Book one ends at the point where Simon proclaims that Jesus is the Son of God. Book two ends on the day…[Read more]

Oof, Korean is hard sometimes. I think I only struggle mostly with pronouncing the vowel sounds accurately… and sentence structure… and formal tones… and… you get the picture. It’s great to learn tho!
Learning is made a lot easier, since I’ve been blessed with a tutor who’s half Korean, and can speak and read it. I was nannying…[Read more] -

Fantasy sounds right. If it’s more along a realistic trail like Rangers apprentice, I suppose it might be midieval fantasy.(prolly my fave genre)
How you’ve described is pretty much how I construct my book too! Usually when I’m thinking of scenes, I kind of let them roll around in my head for a bit then slap them on some paper.…[Read more]
