I’m super late, but I just wanted to say that I love your most recent character sketch!! You can really get an idea of what kind of character he is by looking at it.

How long have you been doing character illustrations? And did you learn from anyone?

But yeah, taking good biblical people and making them evil does sound like twisting things too far.

@elfwing I mean, it is fantasy, he’s allowed to do what he wants. It’s not supposed to be taken literally.

@elfwing Literally not going to say anything because that is probably the only piece of Christian fiction I actually liked

@keilah-h Ye, the OG series is really good, but I didn’t like the other series.

@keilah-h I began fanfics for a whole slew of things, some of which were crossovers, most notably a Percy Jackson/Harry Potter/Hunger Games fanfic lol.

@kathleenramm I don’t have a least favorite book but there sure are some that I would like to rewrite. Especially the last book in the School For Good and Evil series by Somain Chainani. The first three I liked, the last three were a dumpster fire.

I grinned back at her and opened the kitchen door.

Those are wonderful reasons. Writing can be a way to glorify God and help others, while also strengthening and healing ourselves.

Have these two things always been your reason for writing, or did it become that later on?
