It does sound difficult! The Russian things I struggle with the most are word form, grammer, and spelling (but I struggle with that in English too, so…).
I know a Russian lady through BQ, (She loaned me the pre-school book.) But I only see her at BQ tournaments.
Question: Was the book a Korean college book, or a college Korean book?

It is traumatic. I was telling my brother about my book and about Rubin, when suddenly I stopped and just said “oh no.”
He started laughing.
Since then it has been a battle of ‘why’. If his death wasn’t a pivital point in my story, he would have a good chance of surviving. As it is, I already have a song for his funeral.

Ah, English, that wonderful headache.
I’ve heard Korean is difficult. What do you think of it, and how are you learning?
I’m using Babbel, Duolingo, and a Russian preschool book.

Ooo… Asor sounds very intriguing… I especially like that last line… I have a feeling I’d be a big fan of his. 😉
That first line… XD *chef’s kiss* Love it!
How cool! He sounds like a fun character.
Oh. my. Goodness!!! Those are hilarious, and I love them!!! XD (I’m already a huge fan…[Read more]

Are you familiar with or know Russian? I’m still learning, but it’s a beautiful language!

Thanks?
Otto’s accent is supposed to be German influenced, but my more recent book is Russian and may have bled over in the rewrite. Both German and Russian have a ‘v’ sound instead of a ‘w’, and no ‘th’ sound. I don’t speak German, so I’m not as familiar with it. They do sound similar to most people. Russian is spoken from the…[Read more]

@anatra23Â I’m not sure, it’s little like Green Ember with humans, or the Ranger’ Apprentice but cleaner, or Wingfeather with no “magic”: is that fantasy? As for the thought out part, I’m writing my first draft, and although I have only the prologue and part of the first chapter, I have made up scenes all throughout the book. That’s how I make up…[Read more]

Ugh, I could go on forever with characters too, haha.
Out of all the character you’ve created, do you have one you know the best?
Yo, I’m not even surprised that people always compliment you on your pros. It’s one of a kind.
Was pros something that came naturally to you or did you have to work on…[Read more]

@faith-q Haha yes let’s get some much-needed advice XD

@anatra23 yeah
I have not read it, though it sounds vaguely familiar. I may just check it out 🙂
haha i bet it was a little unnerving. We watched Reign of Fire with a friend on new years eve, and they were laughing. “Oh boy. Go look for dragons!” XDD we had a good laugh about it haha

@anatra23 hahaha sounds like someone got inspiration from Reign if Fire but didnt know how to play it out. In this movie the dragons also start attacking 2010, but most of the film supposedly takes place 2020 lol I joke with my friends that they predicted catastrophe but they predicted wrong; its covid instead of dragons. Idk which is worse XD

Oof. I know what that’s like. It’s so rare for a series to be good the whole way through.
That sounds like a really interesting series! But yeah, I get what you mean by it getting tricky with Christian Theology and stuff. Like you don’t want people to have the wrong idea of the biblical characters in the story, but…[Read more]
