Spinach coupons? Sorry, I’m all out, some giant orange lizard stole them all.
I do well on my college papers, have helped write a longish skit/short play, write poetry reasonably often, short stories less often, and ramble on in a most dignified manner over the history of the Brother-nation’s music.
I too create stories and worlds with little…[Read more]

@trahia-the-minstrel
Ah yes, I write somewhere in that vague genre of medieval fantasy. Do you include magic or not? I honestly didn’t think I was in the afore mentioned genre as there is none in my books. But lo and behold, I am somewhere in there alright. -

I saw you post recently, and wondered if you knew this topic existed — I had tagged you, but there’s a chance the link(😂) didn’t work.
Just cause I know you love Zelda games.😊

Hi @joy-caroline !
I love this topic, cause it’s something I get quite insecure about. That is, I want to write clean stories from a Christian worldview, but I don’t want my stories to be all about faith and religion. I just want them to be good stories, if you know what I mean — I write YA fantasy. My sister tells me it can’t be classed as YA c…[Read more]

Hello! I’m a homeschooler as well. I have recently (sometime during the last six months) found the Wingfeathers. I write medeaval fantasy, historical fiction, and Poetry.
Your WIP sounds interesting. I haven’t read any dystopian, and the only true Scifi book I have read was Thorny Twins. =] My brother has read some of both.
So, do…[Read more]

Jaybird replied to the topic Have you ever considered quitting writing? Why or why not? in the forum Topic of the Week 4 years, 9 months ago
I’m pretty much like that. I love writing, whether it’s a story or an essay, but I doubt I’ll ever do it as a career. As a hobby I can see doing it, and about every profession uses writing skills.
I don’t know yet how far it will influence my “real” life, or whether I’ll even ever get anything published. All I know is that I don’t want to…[Read more]

Thank you!!!
It is rather crazy.
*Starting to wonder if I have a talent for accidental plagiarism or if this is just another mad coincidence. Then realises what the Hermit of the Southern March would say to that, and shuts mouth.*

Greetings!
I’m Elishavet, and I’m glad to meet you. I am also rather new to serious writing (and KP)
I am also a homeschooler, Annieran(at times), and love poetry.
Oh, and cats. Our family has two, and my first attempt at a novel length book was about them and their conflicted relations with a large dog kingdom.
…And that as…[Read more]

I love your lines! And is it crazy that I also have a character whose nickname is Prince S?😂

Hi! Welcome to the forum!
I love writing fantasy too, and I was homeschooled as well! I also love Marvel, LOTR, and the Wingfeather Saga!
Also, Ava is such a pretty name😊
Some welcome questions:
Which fictional character would you want to be the most?
What weapon would you choose if you were given a split-second choice before…[Read more]

“We spent yesterday up a tree. Literally. We had only been on the road for, maybe two hours, when we heard wolves. I pushed him (Smalden) up a tree and told him to climb for his life.”

Sure, I’d be thrilled to share them now that my Chromebook is up again!
Yeah, my fanfics aren’t exactly my best writing either, but they are such fun. For my part I have especially enjoyed illustrating different character’s personalities through Wilfred’s journal. Smalls is a rather entertaining youngling, and Wilfred is such a capable…[Read more]

Thanks! Oh cool!! It’s SO good, I love it XD
I know, I’m the same way 😛
What is your current WIP about (if you have one) and what inspired you to write it?

Ava Coulter replied to the topic Heyyy in the forum Start HERE 4 years, 9 months ago
Oh cool! Yeah, a lot of my friends have read it and loved it, so…I’ll guess I’ll get around to reading it someday lol. *Glances at mile long to-read list*
Yes! Of course!
That’s hard to say, because even when I was little, I’d write little stories and “publish” them via printer paper, tape, and staples XDD. I’ve always dreamed…[Read more]

Hi Kathleen!
#1 Oh cool! I have read the Hobbit, but not the Silmarillion yet. It’s definitely on my ‘books to read’ list tho XD
#2 Great question! Some of my favorite poets are Emily Dickinson, Edgar Guest, and John Greenleaf Whittier. Hmm favorite poems…gosh I have so many, we’d be here all day XD, but one that comes to mind…[Read more]

Thank you, Power, for the wonderful poem
It made me feel right at home
As you read and cringe at my reply
Yes, it’s very clear. I cannot lie
That writing poetry is not my thing
But thank you again for welcoming me

Hi Jodi! Nice to meet you as well! 🙂
Oh neat! I haven’t gotten into writing in the historical fiction genre as much yet…maybe someday XD
#1 My current WIP is a dystopian trilogy. The city that much of the story takes place in is called Kalopsia (which basically means appearing more beautiful than it actually is) and it has quite a bit of…[Read more]

Heeey, you made it!!!! Love your profile picture, by the way. The sword she’s holding looks like Sting from the Hobbit/LOTR. 🙂
