I mean, is it possible to write a good first novel? XD
I love drawing as well! Do you ever draw illustrations for your novels?
Wow! You were six! I don’t even feel bad that you beat me. XD
Have you loved reading ever since you’ve learned? Or did it take you a while to start enjoying it?
Because although I love reading now, I…[Read more]

And keep the website suggestions coming! We love getting feedback.

What made you start writing stories? How old were you when you started?
I started writing when I was either seven or eight years old when I was inspired by a story I made up while playing the board game ‘Life’.
I had my little family in the game and I named the only child Beatrice. Once I named her, a story started to form in my head. Â And I s…[Read more]

Well, your first novel may have been cliche, but at least James Nixon wasn’t a poor farm boy. XD
It’s cool how in your writing today you can still see influences from your past work. But now it’s much more well put together, thought out, and more deeply developed.
What world-building elements do you still have in your fantasy…[Read more]

Manga/anime art style is so fun to draw in!
When you try to draw realistically, a lot more things can go wrong.
*Thinks about all my horribly failed sketches that haunt my dreams at night*
But I still like to sketch in both. It just depends on what drawing mood I’m in.
What do you like to photograph the most?
I like…[Read more]

Congratulation @michelle! And of course I’d love to read it!
Is this the first chapter book you’ve written, or have you written others as well?

@leon-fleming That’s a good point lol. Maguire’s Spider-Man was definitely awkward. (And he didn’t act like a teenager at all)

@michelle Yeah, it’s pretty crowded XD
Ooh! Yes, I’d love to see them! Hope they turn out well! And yep, my mom’s the same way lolol.
Yes, I have watched ATLA! Pretty recently actually; I watched it for the first time a month or two ago? (I’m late, I know haha).
And it’s fun, but veeeeeeeerry time consuming and tiring. But I think it’s that way wi…[Read more] -

Sounds good! I will read the doc and give you my thoughts and ideas soon!
And great job so far. This will be no easy task, but the language of the Kingdom of Pen will be created slowly but surely!

It’s cool how your characters evolved into other stories!
If I may ask, what do you mean by them being human but not exactly? That sounds very intriguing.
The current project that I’m currently writing the first draft on, I’ve been working on and off on for over four years. I think it’s safe to say I spent probably close to a…[Read more]

@leon-fleming Oooooooooops somehow I missed the notification for this. Whups.
Yeah, a lot of people don’t always wear masks when they’re outside, like, at the parks or just walking their dogs (but they still have to wear them while indoor shopping and stuff like that). And yeah, a lot of businesses are either currently or on the verge of going…[Read more] -

Heyyyyyy! You’re ahead of me on LoTR haha … I need to figure out where the other two books are heh.
I really like the worldbuilding in Inheritance, Paolini does a really good job of writing the rules of his world and how the different races interact with each…[Read more] -

I’ve always had a fascination with fairy-tale retellings! Have you ever read the Lunar Chronicles? I wouldn’t say it’s the best series out there, but it was definitely the best fairy-tale retelling series that I have read.
How old were you when you wrote it?

“What was the first novel you wrote about? What made you decide to write it?”
Also, it doesn’t have to be the first novel you finished, just the first novel you started writing. My first novel, (which I didn’t actually finish), was about a girl who lived with her grandmother in a immobile mobile home. She lives a pretty simple life of caring for…[Read more]

@leon-fleming Yep! In my opinion I think Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man (partly just because he looks like he’s literally fifteen years old, especially in Homecoming), buuuuuut Garfield was really good too. I feel like Garfield captured the nerdy/techy side of Peter more than Holland did, especially because his Spider-Man built his own…[Read more]

@michelle Yea! I won’t say exaaaaaaaaaaactly what city I live in (y’know, cybersafety and all that jazz ((though KP is generally real safe, just as a precaution tho))), but I live near/in the LA area. I’m glad you like it!

@leon-fleming Yeah, my city doesn’t take lockdown suuuuuuuuuuuper seriously, but we still have to, like, wear masks when shopping and stuff. (And there’s no indoor seating in restaurants yet)
