That is so cool!!! It always makes me happy when I meet other S&S fans. 😁 We just saw their David show a couple weeks ago, so I’m in major musical mode rn… Pretty much been listening to the soundtrack nonstop since seeing it😂
I love the songs y’all chose for your characters! 🙂

Ooo… Good question!
One thought I had while reading your post is where did your character get his wisdom from?
- Is he speaking from experience? If so, how have his experiences shaped his personality? Have they scarred him physically or emotionally?
- Is he passing on advice he’s heard elsewhere? If so, has he himself found the…

Honestly, I don’t have any experience in this area, so I don’t think I can help, I’m sorry. 🙁 I hope you find the info you’re looking for, though! Wishing you the best with this project. 🙂 <333

I’m doing well, too! School has ended for the year, so that’s nice. 🙂
I haven’t been doing a lot of sit-down-and-focus writing lately, but I’ve been brain-dumping scenes from a series in my spare moments. Hopefully, someday, I can get around to writing it. As for reading, I mainly read for school now, unfortunately, but I enjoyed…[Read more]

@kathleenramm
I actually started working on one about human experimentation in which the characters escaped and made their way to Charleston, SC (one of the places I grew up) but I dropped the story because I didn’t end up liking it.I also read one set in Charleston where there was absolutely zero research done of where things are. It was funny.

Indi’s story sounds so fun!!! Here’s a couple questions:
-How does Indi feel about her dad? Since his oddities have made her an oddball, does she resent him? And since her mom went along with the strange names, how does she feel about her?
-How does Indi feel about her dad’s line of work? Does she admire him? Wish he was norma…[Read more]

I cannot agree with you more about parent characters! And “happily-ever-after” stories sometimes frustrate me, too… They don’t reflect reality, and I’m a BIG supporter of fiction reflecting reality. 🙂
That’s so cool! Hopefully, I get to meet those characters someday. 😉

I’m with Ara on this one; Riven is HORRIBLE!!! I love the way you described him, tho, especially:
The way his tone dipped in the most subtle, cutting ways…

I agree with you! It takes a lot for a scene to impress me, and that scene did. Nicely done! 😉
Nice to meet you, Clare! Can’t wait to get to know you better. 🙂 <333
