So…
Paxton is one of my faves. I love him. But obviously he’s got trauma cuz most all charries do XD
So he’s the youngest of my gang. He’s going to be the little kid, around Nyx’s age when Nyx is first introduced, but Nyx is an animal, and when Paxton shows up Nyx has gotten just a tad older. (Nyx will be around 10 or so. Paxton will be 8 or something) ANYWAY
Paxton is a Faerie.
A wingless faerie.
Whose…well…his family life is REAL rough. Hated by his mom (pretty much.) Hated by his brothers (pretty much.) Hated by EVERYONE. (Pretty. Much.)
Real rough.
And he’s been told his only worth in life is to be killed by a sea beast so he can awaken it and it can kill all the mer people and the Faeries can win a war!
*awkward smile.*
IN REALITY….He was actually born to bring PEACE to all the Fae. the name Paxton literally means Peace Town.
Simply said, Arabella obviously steps in and her and the gang are like:
“Umm…this is MESSED UP BRUH.”
Cuz it is. It so totally is.

#ProtectSeb@koshka my series does have some…hard themes and things in it. Some verbal abuse and such, dealing with grief, forgiveness and redemption, and it’s big on self-love IMO.
In the end I just want there to be a character where whoever reads the books, no matter who they are they can always find SOMEONE to connect with. Because they’re all so vastly different and have their different struggles, but they’re all connected to God’s plan and it’s so beautiful how God has opened up this story to me honestly.
In the end, Paxton finds self-worth like never before and it ties into things that are said before he is ever even introduced.
For instance- Ara’s mother was unable to have children, thus Ara was a miracle, but after Ara she still couldn’t have anymore children. She wanted more, but it just wasn’t in God’s will. That’s because, In Paxton’s book, things happen and Ara and Paxton pretty much become blood siblings, and, so, when Ara returns home with him, her mother gains the second child, a little boy, she wanted. God had it all worked out. And he does end up bringing Peace like he’s supposed to, and more then that there’s an even bigger destiny that ties in with Ara and the gang’s (which is why he ends up staying with them after his book.)
And the other charries have similar stories of finding themselves, connected to each other yet so different. Even Corvina, my antagonist.
Hard things happen, and we don’t understand them. We don’t understand why, but in the end, we look back and we see where God was at in it all. No, he didn’t necessarily “make the bad things happen.” When sin was allowed into the world, that happened, but He allows it, and works His plan through it.

Wow. I don’t know what to say. We need more of that type of story, TRUE fiction.
(I’m actually struggling with my story stuff right now, as…I don’t know. I’m not sure if I should write at all although I desperately want to.)

#ProtectSeb@lydia-s so since ur part of his fan club I’ll tell u about ur boy some lol! Grimm is actually the one who goes thru the Grief theme (if it wasn’t obvious from his aesthetic 🤣)
He lost his baby sister, who was deaf, and blames himself (even though he was busy saving another child at the time. He doesn’t regret Saving this child, but, you know. It’s one of those lose lose situations.)
Worse, she was murdered. Because she was deaf. Bad situation. He’s been through a lot.
Enter Ara and then, he’s leading a rebellion full of kids and teenagers against the one who killed his sister and others.
He stays with them afterwards and goes throughout the series with them, but has to overcome his grief. And….spoiler….something happens near the end that drives him right back into that grief pit (he gets close to someone else because that person pulls him out of his grief, and he loses that person too.) BUT, this is what ultimately gets him out of his grief.
because the person he loses has, by this time, already taught him the lessons he’s needed. Has already taught him that grief and blame is not something that should keep you bound. You will always love those who have gone on, but you cannot live your life the way Grimm has been living his.
So yea.
