Oh, wonderful! Til We Have Faces is super good. Ah, I see. I’ve flipped through the first book virtually, but hopefully, I’ll actually get around to reading them someday. 😉
No, I have no read that one! I’ll have to do that someday, though.
Wow, he sounds extremely well written! (And don’t worry. I’m 16 and I still enjoy flipping…[Read more]

Elfwing replied to the topic What's your character's Lie? in the forum Characters 3 years, 3 months ago
oy vey… I don’t plan character lies… umm they sorta develop with the character, but the first one in my mind would be Brianna Hakonik;
she was kidnapped as a child and raised in a very dark place and trained as an assassin and ring fighter and with it came a lot of trauma and abuse. As you can guess she’s bitter and agg…[Read more]

what scenes? I’m confused too now, if you meant which of yours, i liked both scenes!!
no it’s not weird to detail all the species! It’s good to know your characters inside and out so to speak 🙂 they all sound like you put a lot of thought into them!
And as for MCs all being boys I admit it’s my natural tendency to do that too so n…[Read more]

ahh I see! Well I won’t hold that against you! What about tea? I like regular black tea with honey and milk!
Yeah new things are sometimes like Bilbo’s description of adventures; “nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!” But they can also lead to incredible opportunities!
Haha sounds like my parents too!
An…[Read more]

If you have the resources, go for it! No regrets! 😉 If it totally flunks, don’t sweat it. If it turns out to be the best choice you could have made, yay you! <33 (I think a yt channel would work well for that)

Awesome topic, I LOVE this kinda stuff!
Hmmm…. *ponders over which best
most devastatingcharacter lie to use*Enter Dylan. He believes he can’t be loved. He wasn’t loved or appreciated by his father as a boy, and then he witnessed his mother’s death, which scarred him. He put all his worth into MMA fighting but didn’t thi…[Read more]

and one morphing: (they’re called Death Hawks for here explained reasons)
Atheico looked shocked, “How did you find him? And how are you not dead? His father swore he’d kill anyone who came to his castle after I—”
“I didn’t find—” Mythia twitched and tried to stay still, “ I didn’t find him. He’s my friend and Lysanna sent me to hi…

Thanks! i have the Serpent Children, then the Peluvaro, who morph into owls, and the Bardans, who morph into griffons. Peluvaro and Bardan blood mixed makes an odd combination; their descendants are Pelubalar, literally owl-griffon and have wings, slight scaling on the face, severe scaling on the hands, and claws on their hands. The…[Read more]

Thanks! 🙂 yeah, mine are born with both abilities, but in certain events they can lose their ability to chose. For example, they can give up their gift (aka powers) to save someone, or, in extreme circumstances, can die to save someone. As you might assume, this happens very seldom.
Ahhh makes sense, especially if you do more sci fi…[Read more]

Welcome and double high five, because I’m a pineapple on pizza person too!
I also like LoTR way better than Narnia, but Voyage of the Dawn Treader I enjoy now and again (mainly because Eustace is just a really great character, and the Duffepuds are totally hopeless and funny. Especially when they’re coming up for a name for…[Read more]

yeah, Evyrett was stuck in an iron castle for the first 18 years his life with only his friend/servant/cook named Coldon, a loyal boy, but he is rather odd and Evyrett is his master, so it’s not a normal friendship. Especially…[Read more]

Yes I do but in this particular scene it’s a metaphor, but I do have lots of dragons and some dragon people in my stories.
heres one; Evyrett Knayaz
prince of the serpent people. He’s a liiittle nervous around anything bigger than him it bring around any other living beings in general
Heres the story scene that goes with it;

@keilah-h ooo here is another dramatic scene I just remembered
Dorok smiled stiffly at the prince as Ayerna introduced him, but he wasn’t happy. He felt a nagging in his mind and a pit of apprehension in his gut; he didn’t like this man, and he wasn’t sure if it was because the spoiled snob seemed to be paying special attention to Ayerna, or if th…
