Into the Lamp is an AAAAMMMMAAAAZZZIIINNNGGGGG book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 It’s an Aladdin retelling with the genie being a teenage girl! The MC is Colin (who represents Aladdin), and the villain is Dolf. Dolf wants the lamp, wants to destroy all genies, and basically, a war is about to break out in the genie world and Colin’s genie has to go fight in it. Chances are Colin’s genie is likely to die in the war, and Colin is starting to fall in love with her. He just doesn’t admit it. Oh, and Colin’s first wish is for Genie to make Colin seem cool so that this girl named Moriah will fall for Colin. In other words, Colin thinks he’s in love with Moriah and doesn’t realize that Genie is perfect for him. #fangirl mode kicked in.

Ah, BTS is my fave band. They’re so good, I definitely recommend them! I haven’t really listened to any other kpop artists, but I’ve heard good things about IU, BLACKPINK, TXT, TWICE, Seventeen… I can name bands for you but can’t tell you about their music quality because, again, I’ve never really listened to anything besides BTS XD

Well, she’s an interesting character… She’s actually a villain. 😁 A traitor, to be specific. She’s sweet, caring, and a lot of fun, but she’s got a stubborn, rebellious streak, unfortunately. She ends up valuing her “freedom” above everything else, breaking someone’s heart and ripping up several deep friendships in the process. Her partner is the one who really inspires and aggravates these flaws, turning her into who she is in book two. But that’s not the end of the story… 😉

I love her dearly. 🙂
