That’s awesome!!! I’ve only read Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Persuasion. Hopefully, someday I’ll get around to reading her other novels! 😀 (maybe I’ll listen to them… I’d probably get through them all faster that way… lol)

Agh, that makes me so happy!!! So glad I could be helpful. <3333
I know!!! WIPs can feel so overwhelming… I haven’t even gotten beyond daydreaming for my dream project bc I know it’s gonna be big and require a lot of mental maturity I’m not sure I’m ready for yet (Why I do this to myself, I have no idea…) So, yeah, I get it!
(And I…[Read more]

So glad there are other fans out there! *happy sigh* Jane is indeed a ton of fun!
I agree, Jane and Mr. Rochester have a SUPER sweet relationship. (He cracks me up with his snarky comments… Add her spunk into the mix, and oh boy, don’t things get fun! XD) I think my favorite part of the novel if eit…[Read more]

Yuh, sibling relationships ftw. When is a story not better with a sibling, or sibling-like relationship?
Since it’s your favorite, how many sibling duos have you written, and do you have a favorite one you’ve written?
Yeah, there definitely is something special with brother friendships.
Maybe because it’s rarer…[Read more]

WOooOo Imma love this topic XD
I have a few, as it does indeed come from being slightly sheltered that one may say something not as innocent as they thought.
For example, I was texting this friend I had (not too long ago) and we were talking about life and stress and work stuff. And I asked if he was working all the weeknights.…[Read more]

@kathleenramm I like master/servant relationships, maybe like young lady and her butler, or something similar. Or I like the idiotic duo who share one brain cell. That’s just really fun to see.

What’s Your Favorite Relationship Type in Fiction?
For me it would be sibling relationships. Maybe it’s because I have a lot of siblings, but I feel like there’s this unique built-in connection between sibling relationships that other relationships don’t have. There can be a lot of diverse and interesting dynamics between siblings. They could be…[Read more]

Linyang Zhang replied to the topic Does writing energize or exhaust you? Or both? in the forum Topic of the Week 2 years, 9 months ago
@kathleenramm Hmm unless you count the time I couldn’t fall asleep from like midnight to two in the morning because I kept getting writing ideas to jot down haha. That was pretty energizing.

You definitely did not see my profile picture on Pinterest, where I definitely did not get it from. My profile 110% very unique and original. 🙂
It seems like most people get drained from writing. Has there ever been an exception for you? Like a certain chapter that made you excited and energized at…[Read more]

Aaaaaaand, since we can talk about anything, plz tell me someone here has read Jane Eyre and loves it as much as I do!!!! (It took serious self control to not put that entire last part in all caps…😂)
(Side note: @power, that was gloriously fun to read… XD)

(*cringes* I am very late to the party…)
Ooo… This sounds like it will be a fascinating story!!! Retellings are so fun. XD
I’ve dabbled in retellings a little bit, but as I never finished my project (it was a retelling of The Little Mermaid called Rebel.), I don’t have a whole lot of advice for this particular genre. When it comes to…[Read more]

@kathleenramm Boi, your profile picture sure looks familiar, although a tad bluer haha.
I think writing will always drain me. I don’t think I’ve ever walked away from writing without feeling a little more tired than before. Unless I’m in the middle of a load of homework and I needed to write a paragraph or something as a pick-me-up or a…[Read more]
