Hello bestiest people ever!!! I’m back with a poll for y’all to take. First, though, let me do a few things…
1) I’m posting this poll first, then I’ll post another cover mock-up poll when I have the title results. I’ll let y’all know what the results are after. 😃
2) Here’s the synopsis:

Hi guys! I need some brainstorming help for my Camp NaNo project…
Let me break it down:
Hope, MC, is living in the wild with no one except a stray dog as a friend. She lives in a cabin in a valley, surrounded by cities full of hostile people (who are diseased). The cabin is strange–there are weird sounds in the attic, strange knocks on th…[Read more]

@wyn-rose Hi! Thanks for the welcome! What you write sounds right up my alley (I’m a big fan of fantasy). My favorite character in LOTR is definitely Samwise Gamgee!! He’s probably my biggest role model. How about you? I’m so glad to find LOTR fans!
Cool! I’ve always wanted to go to Sight and Sound but have never gotten the chance! Which one did…[Read more]

aNYWAY,
@wyn-rose What a cool topic!! I don’t have a ton of titles to share (I guess that’s what comes from only having two major WIPs over the course of several years) but I’d love to talk about my thought process behind each one. …[Read more]

The Drakesbanes. Originally just “Drakesbane.” So, back when I started this dear story of mine way back in 2013, the plot…[Read more]

Hey y’all! So, as the title states above, I will be starting the rough draft of book 2 of my series, which is, as of right now, called Fate’s Rebellion!
So I wanted to get y’all on board with me and see if y’all have any…[Read more]

Great topic!! <33 Oddly enough, I’ve come very close to starting this topic as well… So, for me, I think titles are the first thing I judge about a novel, so I’d recommend putting a lot of time into a good one. With that said, I’m still trying to find the right title for my book (it’s currently Fortitude, but I don’t think that’ll…[Read more]

@wyn-rose Mm…I’ll throw some examples out and my thought process behind them.
The Mafia of Heather Flights
My sister said it was pretty self-explanatory; no need to change it to something aesthetic. Got a place, a group, and it makes you wonder. The most basic title I have, probably. But it represents what the whole work is about.
I Hid…[Read more]

This is a great topic! As for me, sometimes I have more title ideas than I do titles, other times I draw a blank when I desperately need one XD But the title of my most recent WIP, (is as some of you probably know) The Snow Warrior. And actually, that was the title that came with the photo that inspired my whole novel, and it was just a…[Read more]

@buildsbygideon Awesome to hear you’d like to join!! 🙂 (XD I just threw that out there for the fangirls I know exist *cough* including myself *cough*) I was picturing we could just kind of have a free for all, but maybe in some meetings we could talk about specific genres. 🙂 I’ll keep you in the loop! ✌️

Hey KeePers!!
I was recently thinking about how to get myself motivated to reach my word count each day (Kathleen’s first video really helps!!) and I decided it would be fun to create a routine for myself. If anyone wants to, it would be awesome for y’all to share your routines and help inspire each other to write each day!

Hello @wyn-rose!
My WIP is a loose retelling of Peter Pan. My favorite book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and my favorite movie is probably Raiders of the Lost Ark. I’d have to say my favorite character that I’ve ever written is either the pirate captain from my current WIP or the princess I wrote for a Medieval short story. I t…[Read more] -

Ok, I’m a bit late to the party, but here are a few lines that I like:

Hiya! I love random questions! 🙂
1. I think that wanting to go on adventures is what inspired me to start writing. I can’t really go join a rebellion against an evil king, so I figured I should write about it!
2. Favorite character, hm… I’m writing a character (Tess) in my current WIP. I am sort of basing her on me, so I’d have…[Read more]
