@gracie-j Bahaha Okay but creative freedom can come from not worrying about overused plotlines so maybe it’s actually a gem in disguise XD Ooo those colors sound lovely! I think I know the aesthetic you’re going for. And yes, the blurb would be awesome as soon as you can dig it up, please!
@devastate-lasting Okay!! Could you send me a…[Read more]

“I’m just a simple man, trying to make my way in the universe.” – Jango Fett
-
Ha, nice quote! Didn’t think he said much of worth like that, but I guess he did!
-
Lolol it’s been a while since I read the books or watched the movies, but I’ve got great admiration for both Jango and Boba; they seem so cool haha
-
Yeah, they totally are.
-
I know this is an old topic, but believe it or not, Boba, Jango, and Din Djarin inspired my warrior people, the Realn. They are probably also the only reason I had any interest in Star Wars at all!
-
Wow this really was from 2 years ago 🙃 I feel old and lost

@rae The Mandalorians are so cool, aren’t they? I’m a bit partial to the clones, the way they were portrayed in the animated TV shows (Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch), but I can agree the Mandalorians are an awesome group, both in their show and all the others.
It’s also really cool that they inspired your own people group!

@nova21 (The shock factor made me cry haha…though I would have to argue that GWTW is sadder, even though it’s a more gradual process. But I love Steinbeck. Want to read more of him.)
Oh, those titles sound interesting! Will have to check out…at some point…

You are a brilliant person, Lin XD (And OMAM is SOOOOO SAD)
Uummm, ya that makes sense. (Although they are historical and fiction but that’s besides the point, I know what you mean lol) Let’s see, yeah Chains is prolly my actual favorite, and the Girl in the Blue Coat is good too. Jennifer A. Nielsen’s his-fic books are good too.

@daisy-torres Mine is a story called Visionaries, and the most I can say is that it’s about an insane boy and a dying girl off to create a new world. For colors I feel like that the aesthetic that @issawriter7 made me matches pretty well, which you can see on their awesome blog, but without referencing it I would say, sunset/twilight colors, gray,…[Read more]

@nova21 Of Mice and Men…. ;-;
Though, I have a question. If a book is written in the past concerning the author’s current time period, then it isn’t his-fic, I believe. However, if it is written before the author’s time period, like The Scarlet Letter and A Tale of Two Cities, then it is considered his-fic. So…my question is are the book you…[Read more]

I think we just figured out what’s going on. As I type this, I’m having the same reaction again – but it’s just my skin being flushed and itchy this time, no shortness of breath or anything. Well, we’re 99.9999% sure that this is a niacin flush. My mom had started me on a…[Read more]

Before I answer this question, I need @gracie-j to promise she won’t banish me to the far ends of the Kingdom…. I take that as a yes…??? XD I used to hate hate hate historical fiction because it didn’t have as much freedom as fantasy, which i was obsessed with. I thought it was too restrictive and just not that i…[Read more]

@kathleenramm I used to also HATE poetry. I hated reading it, LOATHED writing it, you couldn’t find me dead having to do with poetry.
Well, now, here I am, and I write poetry nearly every day now. I have a rapidly expanding doc on my computer just filled with my poetry. I only write it on there because I don’t want to run the risk of writing it…[Read more]
