Wait what? You mean you don’t use spell check for the other book and still manage to have something readable?!
I didn’t know other writers couldn’t spell until I joined KP. XD I’ve rarely needed spell check. But my handwriting is horrible, and people can’t read it, so the skills balance out.

I like it! Isaiah and Cedrick are more interesting together than apart. Isaiah’s “code” doesn’t bother me. I mean, it would bother me in real life. But it’s fun when a character has a specific part of their personality that takes action easily. In this case, it’s bitterness. Isaiah could easily become part of a political plot and I wouldn’t bat an eye.
As for the world, your inspiration photos are close to what I pictured while I read. There was this sense of dry coldness in the described surroundings, if that makes sense.
Are drakes a type of dragon? Wingless, maybe? I don’t remember the variations. Is there a reason for draconids turning into dogs or cats?
After reading this, I started thinking about how much each writer likes to be subtle or overt with religion. I enjoy reading your stories. But when I got to the section about your theme ideas – none of those ideas were at the top of my mind. XD It makes feedback challenging, in a fun way.
I’m glad you’ve found something fun to write alongside your main project! I don’t know how much I’ll participate in helping because I’m already helping with your other project, but I’ll follow your updates anyway.

“Captain Memphis isn’t bad. The really cool thing about Memphis is that he’s a harbinger. He collects powers from our world’s dust rings. The comics were written back in the 7990s but they’re more accurate about the rings than people thought.”
