“If you would like to.”

@loopylin @koshka

“May I say something that is a little embarrassing for me?”

Yes.

@whalekeeper

I rarely enter these conversations, although it’s not because I don’t have thoughts to share. XD But I saw your post and thought I might have something to add.

As someone who does believe that speaking in tongues is the innitial sign of new birth by the Spirit, I still do not want to discount the experience you have with God. I…[Read more]

I don’t listen to much Christian music (outside of a couple things) because I haven’t seen much stylistic range.

Nice to know I’m not the only one. 😅

Ari

His eyebrow rose, but he made no other response. The statement didn’t seem to require one.

He hadn’t meant to give advice, only observe. Warn maybe. Why did you even open your mouth, Verenion?

No matter. He reached for his quiver.

It was empty. Perfect.

With a muttered, “don’t shoot me yet,” he set down his bow…[Read more]

Ellis went very still. He looked away for a moment at the other archers with a blank look on his face.
“You’re quick to give advice.”

@loopylin @whalekeeper

*panicking because I haven’t actually decided what exactly Ellis is*

*Pained laughter because this is too relatable*

Ari

The boy’s mother? That was more human then, more than Ari’s blood.

No, the Elder are only cursed.

“Your brother?” He shook his head. “I’ve seen you around. Saw him when you first came in…[Read more]

Poor Ellis.

He’s just bein sensitiveee

Ellis

One of Ellis’ own pointed ears twitched slightly. He fumbled with an arrow on his bowstring. “We’re not. My mother was, though,” he said, glancing at Ari. “You’ve met Lucian?”

@whalekeeper @loopylin

Poor Ellis.

Ari

He spared the boy a glance, then reached up and tucked back the hair that covered his pointed ears.

“Not likely.”

The doctor here at the school had tried to sort him into some nice category or other when he’d first arrived. Ari shot off another arrow. It had been a year since he’d since he’d seen the…[Read more]

Moth deserves angel food cake at his door. He specifically requests it. XD

Agreed. He deserves all the treats.

Moth was probably teasing, Ellis was sure, but it still felt uncomfortable. His smile was slightly less bright than before. “Maybe we will all go to the kitchens and get cake together…[Read more]

Fairy land? A strange turn of phrase, as if there was a definite destination, as if world’s didn’t simply overlap. Moons and wind and monstrous slimy creatures came to mind. His lips twitched.

In a placid voice he he addressed the arrow head in his hand.

“I don’t suppose fairies are so particular about who bakes the…[Read more]

uh, maybe they can keep talking…. or talk to Wolf.

I am so brain dead.

@whalekeeper @koshka

Ellis

Ellis laughed and lowered his bow. He had nearly forgotten who he was with.  “You don’t want to try my baking. And I have no need to fear you stealing all my left shoes while I’m sleeping or luring me away to fairy land.” His smile faded a little and he blinked a couple times at Moth. “…Do I?”

@whalekeeper @loopylin

Ellis is completely missing the point of Ari’s question. I apologize

No need. Ellis understood the assignment perfectly.

Ari

Ellis’s shot went wide. Ari waiting for him to start knock and draw again, then gently nudged his arm into a better position.

“Look down the shaft at the target. That will help.” He watched as E…[Read more]

i dunno who’s turn it is. my brain is in a lot of other places right now for perfectly good reasons, so I logically decided to blame someone instead of try to scroll through a million RPs. 🤣

@whalekeeper @koshka

Ellis

“Some of my people offer small cakes or fresh cream to the fey or other spirits. Usually more as a token of friendship than anything.” Ellis drew his bow again, taking into account the things Ari had pointed out. The shot went too far right, missing the target entirely. He grimaced.

@whalekeeper

thanks for being the polite one and giving the RPs. I was too amused at the moment to be responsible.

@koshka

*uninteligable screaming*

Ari’s response hath chilled me bones….
