Yaay, I actually have a self-contained snippet to share. This is pre-teen Barnes, in case you’re not sure who she is.
The typewriter clicked to a stop, its keys fluttering up and down like the legs of an overturned insect. Lucille opened her eyes. The sun glared through her eyelashes, turning…

and now I’m really sad but also weirdly motivated to get some writing done.
Be sad then!! *Shakes you to make you write more* I need a Lois x Fel scene as soon as you can deliver.

I made a matching mask and cape, and the cape is amazingly red and flowy. I should wear it more but I need to fix the collar.

Oh. I want to be writing short stories consistently. Those I might give to people for feedback. Hopefully that’s not too confusing.

I don’t think the link is working for me.
Just to be clear, because my submission form might be confusing. I just want to be kept accountable for getting a couple chapters done every week. I won’t be sharing them. But I might ask for brainstorming help now and then, and I like helping other people if they need it. -

Thanks!! Those kinds of doodles only take me ten minutes. I should make more of them.
The game showcase tonight sadly didn’t have Silksong. But they teased it a few times, which was funny. XD

Haha, I don’t mind
Ew, no. This is just for fun.
[Marcel glances down at his freshly cleaned coat and shrugs. Loosens up, flicking his wrist cuffs.] Cool with me. If I’d known, I would have brought Enid.”

Stopping at :55 and I think that’s enough to warrant a tasty drink and dinner. 😛

Which plot twist? The one about Jonas’s dad?
Yep
It’s based off the book Fahrenheit 451 which I really want to read, but I haven’t yet, so I don’t know if it’s clean.
I read most of it at a getaway house by the ocean (one of my favorite recent memories), and it was a fun read. I didn’t finish it but at the time I ha…[Read more]

*Bounces up and down because I just researched this* Make full summary of the mystery solution and the story behind it. Something like, “the old lady killed the doctor. She raised alligators in her home because she was a reptile researcher. She trained the alligators to do this, and this, and this. Her plan played out like this. She did…[Read more]

also, have you read the Giver? This book reminds me a lot of that so far.
Dystopian classic. *Sighs emphatically* I remember reading one of the plot twists as a nervous little thirteen-year-old and freaking out. Really good book.

Fr. I don’t want characters to agree with me all the time, because then there would be nothing to think about.

Wait what? You mean you don’t use spell check for the other book and still manage to have something readable?!
I didn’t know other writers couldn’t spell until I joined KP. XD I’ve rarely needed spell check. But my handwriting is horrible, and people can’t read it, so the skills balance out.

I like it! Isaiah and Cedrick are more interesting together than apart. Isaiah’s “code” doesn’t bother me. I mean, it would bother me in real life. But it’s fun when a character has a specific part of their personality that takes action easily. In this case, it’s bitterness. Isaiah could easily become part of a political plot…[Read more]
