Hey you have like, angels and similar stuff in your project? I love working with that stuff! I actually considering calling my WIP something like Guardian Angels, but haven’t decided yet 😂

I feel like I should update this so i’mma do that 😎
Um I don’t have much to say. This forum seems suddenly filled with new people and I’m kind of overwhelmed, so who knows, I might not participate much until the forum feels normal again. Don’t know when that will be? Maybe the new year will bring me new resolve.
NaNoWriMo is hopefully going to…[Read more] -

It’s all about looking beyond the hurt… if that makes sense 🙂 Having that foresight and trust.

If God listens to me, he just ignores anything I say. The times I’ve asked him over and over again to just help me, nothing changes. Even something as simple as remembering to read my Bible every single day, he just isn’t listening and responding.
I know God’s not dead, but sometimes I just wonder if he ignores what we say. If he just break…

Moon
There was a sudden shocked scream.
A tablecloth had been ripped from its table, and a string of fire along the rim licked at the nearby furniture, as the servants frantically tried to put it out. Children scrambled away.
Before Char could grab his arm, Moon leaped over his chair and pulled the kids out of the way. “Move!”
The fire was…[Read more]

What do the shops/outside of the school look like? I wanna do an rp for the twins but I have no idea what the rest of the town looks like. Is this a modern city/town?
I’m picturing it as kinda modern? So far no one has actually explored it, although sometimes I’ve tried to broaden the charries’ sight a little by describing the outside…[Read more]

Yeah, it’s definitely not like a complete copy-paste job. It definitely has its own aesthetic and everything, and that’s why I mentioned I don’t hold to that critique as much anymore. So I agree.
The school itself felt like the biggest “ooh let’s follow the trend” element of the story. Like I mentioned, Prattle’s pins are literally jus…[Read more]

Have you listened to any electro-swing? You should listen to Caravan Palace. They’re one of my favorite bands. :]
I’m literally SO into electro swing right now it’s INSANE!! It’s so energetic and quirky and addicting!! I was going to share some of my favorites on the character playlist strand! I’ve only listened to a bit of Caravan P…[Read more]

Wow, they’re so, like… Idk, they remind me of this old dark academia aesthetic, with gargoyles or something. ❤😂❤

So.
Um…
Strong thoughts.
I’ve actually continued the series – on book five now – and I think I can judge it better now, being halfway through. I know the world well.
That being said, I don’t know everything 😅
Keeper of the Lost Cities is one of those things where I love it and hate it simultaneously, completely on purpose. I read it all the t…[Read more]

I was literally JUST going to revisit this topic 🤣 for certain reasons. I’ll post what I was going to say myself in a little bit, and respond to your points here.
1. Entirely agree.
2. Yep yep yep, and not just in the first book. Onward, as they say.
3. One of my biggest character critiques.
4. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a bad…[Read more]

Sounds funnn 😂 I’m working a WIP for NaNo too and having a much easier time of writing it than my normal WIP. Which is…. Kinda nice. XD And as I write, I’m finding so many things I’ve missed when I was working on worldbuilding this country. But, I guess that’s just the way I do things. 🤷🏻♀️ I really can’t sit down and plot for a long time or I’l…[Read more]
Also, I’m absolutely loving the dynamic between my two MCs. 😆 I seriously need to put them in a RP on here together. 😂
Nice!! I’m glad you get that much needed break! How’s it going right now?
Pretty good! Thanks for asking!
I’m behind on my word count, but I’m hoping that I’ll be able to catch up next week. (Because instead of a certain amount of words per day, I’m doing words per week, and gave myself a lower count Thanksgiving week.) I’m struggling the large-scale pacing of the story, but I’ll probably smooth that all out in the seco…[Read more]
Yeah, it’s probably best to write a little extra each day so you’re prepared for the holidays. And I bet you’ll figure out second draft just fine 😊
Umm I gave up on NaNo for a few reasons 😅 Mostly because my dad couldn’t fix the computer. But also because my mom is sick, and we’re going to be away from home for a couple weeks now. So it just wasn…[Read more]
