You are interested in forensic science as well? I love anything to do with that topic. Do crime shows drive you crazy in regards to how they take care of evidence and the process?
Aaron would rather always have random people steal bits of his food.
Would your character rather only be able to speak in jokes or never be able to say anything remotely funny?
Welcome! I hope you enjoy your time here on Kingdom Pen.
Greetings! Your WIP sounds quite interesting. Are you hoping to publish your work some day?
I too enjoyed Narnia when I first read them at seven years old or so. I am afraid they are the only work of C.S. Lewis that I have read.

I agree that similar mannerisms is a very good idea. You could also take it a step further and use some of the same words or type of speech when doing the dialogue for them both. For example, they could both use the word “so” or “indeed” often when they speak. For type of speech, they could both ramble on when they speak or use a lot of metaphors.

Welcome to Kingdom Pen! What are some of your favorite books?
I have found it helpful to every so often email myself a portion of my book. So then I have peace that if something happens to my computer and my backup memory stick, I do not lose all my work.
The resources I would really recommend are the thesauruses by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi. I have their Emotional Wound Thesaurus, the Rural Setting Thesaurus, the Urban Setting, the Positive Trait Thesaurus, the Negative Trait Thesaurus, and the Emotions Thesaurus. I highly recommend them all. If you are like me and struggle with making your stories less………sterile(?) then you will find the Emotions Thesaurus a life changer.
@devestate-lasting
I read it and really enjoyed it. I liked your style of writing a lot. The plot itself was very interesting and gave me a lasting impression. I thought the characters were well developed and vivid.
Hakfway through, it did become a little more confusing what was happening in the story. I think it is one of those stories you need to read more than once. If you only wanted the audience to read it once, I would recommend making it a little clearer.
Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed that story. Keep up the good work.
Thank you and good morning to you as well. So far I am enjoying my time here on Kingdom Pen.
It definitely will be interesting moving all of my books. Especially since I have quite a few pre 1920’s ones which are more fragile.
My Lord of the Rings books have leather covers as well, which might be a bit difficult. I also have many large books which are also challenging to pack. (Including four books that are five in one of Agatha Christie novels).
Yes, I do have a few dictionaries along with many thesauruses and atlases.
So you made a large move as well? How did that go?
Yes, it is nice I am consistent. Even so, I have done a lot of research on my type to be certain the results are correct.
I took the test and got the same answer I have gotten for every personality test I have taken. INTJ.
I have noticed almost everyone who has responded is in XNFP. Interesting.
I first learned of them as the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) but they are also known as the 16 personalities. They are categories of 16 different types. Theoretically, everyone is one of the types.
Here is the link to take the test if you are interested.
https://www.16personalities.comActually, my personality type is INTJ. So if you need help with Seia’s personality, I would be happy to answer your questions.
How many mystery writers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Two. One to screw it almost in and the other to give it a surprising twist at the end.
