You are interested in forensic science as well? I love anything to do with that topic. Do crime shows drive you crazy in regards to how they take care of evidence and the process?

Aaron would rather always have random people steal bits of his food.
Would your character rather only be able to speak in jokes or never be able to say anything remotely funny?

Greetings! Your WIP sounds quite interesting. Are you hoping to publish your work some day?
I too enjoyed Narnia when I first read them at seven years old or so. I am afraid they are the only work of C.S. Lewis that I have read.

I agree that similar mannerisms is a very good idea. You could also take it a step further and use some of the same words or type of speech when doing the dialogue for them both. For example, they could both use the word “so” or “indeed” often when they speak. For type of speech, they could both ramble on when they speak or use a l…[Read more]

I have found it helpful to every so often email myself a portion of my book. So then I have peace that if something happens to my computer and my backup memory stick, I do not lose all my work.
The resources I would really recommend are the thesauruses by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi. I have their Emotional Wound Thesaurus, the Rural Setting…[Read more]

@devestate-lasting
I read it and really enjoyed it. I liked your style of writing a lot. The plot itself was very interesting and gave me a lasting impression. I thought the characters were well developed and vivid.
Hakfway through, it did become a little more confusing what was happening in the story. I think it is one of those stories you need…[Read more]

Thank you and good morning to you as well. So far I am enjoying my time here on Kingdom Pen.
It definitely will be interesting moving all of my books. Especially since I have quite a few pre 1920’s ones which are more fragile.
My Lord of the Rings books have leather covers as well, which might be a bit difficult. I also hav…[Read more]

Yes, it is nice I am consistent. Even so, I have done a lot of research on my type to be certain the results are correct.

I first learned of them as the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) but they are also known as the 16 personalities. They are categories of 16 different types. Theoretically, everyone is one of the types.
Here is the link to take the test if you are interested.

Good evening, fellow writers.
I admit I have been curious about something for some time but I have not yet had opportunity to test my theory. I would like to know if certain MBTI types have typical genres they write in.
Comment below with your type and favorite genre. We shall see if there is a trend to the results.

How many mystery writers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Two. One to screw it almost in and the other to give it a surprising twist at the end.
