One thing I like about these scenes is that it gives a little more of a glimpse of Libbie’s relationship with her brother Abe. I feel like he’s not a very well developed character in the story, but I want to find a way to change that.

@light-warrior-pen If you’re going for a sweet proposal, and you have your characters well developed, have the guy plan something that would be special to the girl for reasons that only they are aware of, or bring in the location of their first date or something. “At long last” is an expression (it’s like “at last”, but implies more of a “finally, after all that struggle”) but it felt a little weird to me too when I was reading it again so I’ll probably change that.

@kyronthearcanin I can’t tell you how many times I cried reading through the series the first time… after that I knew what was coming, but the first time through was tough. I read those books so fast, too, lol!

Oh back to the favorite characters- I forgot about Professor Hamilton, but he’s definitely one of my favorites, too! I have so many good quotes from him because he’s just so full of wisdom.

I agree, Walter is definitely the best male character… I love his jokes! I like Billy, too, but Walter’s jokes give him the upper hand lol.
