Yes, Mr. Brocklehurst is absolutely horrible. I often wish I could shake some sense into a character, but it is very rare that I mentally strangle them. The way he twisted Scripture made me furious, not to mention his other crimes. Ugh!
*Realizes I was screaming*
*Calms down*
Anyway…
As for your question,…[Read more]

OOH OOH!! @trahia-the-minstrel my 2 favs are
Brother relationships UGH I LOVE THEM SO STINKING MUCH or anything that even resembles a brotherly relationship, like just two guys teasing each other 😂 I love the younger older brother thing. (I love guys….I’m a girl what I can say. Boys in books are great 😂)
Also the Best friends lovers thing, but…[Read more]

So glad there are other fans out there! *happy sigh* Jane is indeed a ton of fun!
I agree, Jane and Mr. Rochester have a SUPER sweet relationship. (He cracks me up with his snarky comments… Add her spunk into the mix, and oh boy, don’t things get fun! XD) I think my favorite part of the novel if eit…[Read more]

I have read/ listened to Jane Eyre. I enjoyed it and thought it was deeply intriguing and surprisingly sweet. Although in full confession, I didn’t really want Jane to marry Rochester. XD
But the end was satisfactory.
Helen is the absolute best! The worst character was that secretary of the school. I despised him.

Yuh, sibling relationships ftw. When is a story not better with a sibling, or sibling-like relationship?
Since it’s your favorite, how many sibling duos have you written, and do you have a favorite one you’ve written?
Yeah, there definitely is something special with brother friendships.
Maybe because it’s rarer…[Read more]

WOooOo Imma love this topic XD
I have a few, as it does indeed come from being slightly sheltered that one may say something not as innocent as they thought.
For example, I was texting this friend I had (not too long ago) and we were talking about life and stress and work stuff. And I asked if he was working all the weeknights.…[Read more]

Thanks for the reassurance. Yes, it’s epic fantasy. I have listened to some of Brandon Sanderson’s stuff, and he does do well writing larger groups.
I have around 4-8 “important” characters, and maybe 2 main characters. The cliffhanger advice is good, thanks!
An animal character! All of my characters are a…[Read more]

@power WOW!!! That’s incredible!! I do NOT have the patience for that heh. At all…but as for MC’s, I agree with @trahia-the-minstrel, though I’ve come to learn that it’s your book, your story, your series, etc. Do what you want with it! Wether it becomes famous or not that’s not what matters. What matters is if YOU’RE happy/proud of it!! What’s…[Read more]

@devastate-lasting @everyone else
Hello there! I’ve been…..writing a lot of fanfiction. Also drawing and coloring an Asian dragon and a three-headed hydra.
@trahia-the-minstrel Your snippet sounds cool! The names are cool too, but look a little hard to read out loud.

@trahia-the-minstrel XD I’m much more comfortable with most accents due to being bilingual, but then I accidentally throw something in there and my readers just go “WHOA WAIT WHAT”.
Thank you. <3
@annabelle Heheh, yep.

Ooh, I love your ideas! Unfortunately, I’ve already written him as an old man who asked for the son… however, it WOULD be interesting to change the child to a girl (especially if I start having issues with the prince). I would love to see Rumpel interact with a little girl. So that is a possible rewrite to consider!
Hey, I…[Read more]
