This one’s one of my favorites, because I put in a background. I have a story which goes along with this one. It’s a short story by my standards but it’s still a bit long, so I probably won’t post it with the drawing.

This guy’s and example of their dragonish eyes, and he has spikes on his neck. Notice I draw Star Wars clone trooper dragons a lot. This dragon was one of my first experiments with shading (which took a while, even though all I was doing was tracing a picture)

@elfwing Ha! Those fit together perfectly……Hunterclaw’s mention of the other cat, Heather’s shying away, and Lyn and Ara’s conversation all combine seamlessly.

“That Echopelt.” Hunterclaw shook his head, smiling and thinking of the cyborg cat’s (rational) fear of water. He jumped up beside his mate and looked around at the mountains surrounding their current camp. “Say, what’s that over there? It looks like a cat!”
That’s my last few sentences.

I drew this one a while back ago. He was from a fanfic I wrote about a video game, but instead of being humans the characters were dragonmen. So that’s why it says “Championship of the Dragons” above his name.

@elfwing Sounds awesome! I like the deer person idea, too. My characters have catlike eyes too, but only when they’re angry or scared or in bright light. Their eyes look normal otherwise. Their canine teeth are also really sharp, and some of them have retractable fangs behind their human teeth. The sea variety has gills and bioluminescent areas on…[Read more]

@elfwing Cool! Cats and dragons seem to be my favorite characters to combine with humans. The creatures always have completely human faces (no scales, and no fur unless it’s facial hair), but they can have cat ears. Their bodies are usually covered in fur or scales (but they usually still wear clothes for some reason), and they have tails, and…[Read more]

The Apostle’s Sister sounds awesome! Where and how are you going to publish it? I’d like to read it once it’s done!

What does THTDE stand for? I’m on a writing website which might like new book suggestions. (If it’s an adult book, I won’t be able to suggest it, because it’s a site for tweens and teens).

“The warrior began leaping down the rocks, eager for a reunion.” That was my last sentence so far, from a few days ago. I’m going to be writing some more later, so I’ll get you my last sentence from then when I finish!

@power Welcome! I’m Keilah. I LOVE Narnia and The Wingfeather Saga!
A few questions:
- What’s your favorite animal? Mine are dogs, cats, lizards, dolphins, and dragons! (if dragons count)
- Do you like to draw? I LOVE to!
- What are your favorite movies and shows? Have you written any fanfictions? (I only ask that because 90% of my stories are…

@daisy-torres Technically all socks have holes, if they didn’t you couldn’t get your feet in them (so perhaps hoping for everyone’s socks to be holeless isn’t as good an idea as first I thought. Or maybe it’s better! *evil snicker*)
@ariel-f If you would like to look into military b strategy you might want to look at The Art of War by Sun Tzu. If…[Read more]

Keilah H. replied to the topic What trope is most common in your stories? in the forum Topic of the Week 5 years, 2 months ago
Found family trope. Definitely. I have, like, three stories with that theme (but in one of them, the character that finds his father is actually a minor character, and ends up dying in the end, sacrificing his own life to save the family he found….I know, sad). Like @joy-caroline said, it’s probably influenced by how that is really our lives as…[Read more]
