Sorry if you get this more than once, but it’s not showing I posted.
It’s a Nickelodeon kid’s show, but that is very misleading as to what it actually is. It’s enjoyable for all ages, and when I say enjoyable, I mean all ages will genuinely love this show. Kids will appreciate the bright fun adventure, and adults will appre…

I don’t really know your characters, but as long as they are different enough in other respects, I think it’s fine. Most people are protective of something, so it makes sense that characters would be too.

I don’t play too much for my own enjoyment, but when I do it is often hymns, which I arrange myself. I also play music in church, so I have to practice that.
Hymns are awesome. My dad has talked about getting my siblings and I to play at church, but we don’t want to. And we already have a flute guy.
RP stands for Role Play. Basically we h…

Awesome! I’ve read all of those except Stormlight 4, which I’m in the middle of. Are you about to read Yumi then, since your in the middle of the secret projects?
I will probably read The Sunlit Man first, since that one is available at my library. I had Yumi, but alas, it was returned before I read it. ☹️
Yeah, I’m not sure, lol!…

Hello! Your projects sound really cool. I love fantasy.
Some of my favorite authors are Tolkien and Brandon Sanderson.
They are some of my favorites too!
I play piano as well. I like it sometimes. What kind of music do you like to play? I enjoy hymns, and my brother is obsessed with jazz, ragtime, and blues. (I’ve heard Peacherine Rag at…[Read more]

Yep, Grandpa Smedry is the best! So you’ve read Alcatraz, and you mentioned Kaladin earlier, what other Sanderson books have you read?
I’ve read Skyward, Tress of the Emerald Sea, A Frugal Wizard’s Guide to Surviving Medieval England, and all of the Stormlight Archive except Dawnshard, which I think I have from the library, but i…[Read more]

Hello!
Cool Username
Thanks!
I did make an intro post, but Wyoh ate it 😠
How dare she! I got a notification that you had posted here, but then I couldn’t find it and was very confused.
It all began when a mysterious person posted one singular post on an RP, then deleted their account. The one post was their only post, and KP showed not the…

We don’t really hike in our state, (IN), either. I’ve never been to New Hampshire, so I don’t know how they compare. I have seen pictures of the west though, and it’s beautiful. I definitely want to go there someday.

I’m much more of a hard worldbuilder myself, but I have strong respect for soft worldbuilding when done right. (If you need help with ideas for hard stuff, I’d love to help if such help is wanted!)
Thanks! A few tips would be nice, but I’m mostly focusing on my other WIPs right now.
I love Alcatraz! Have you read the full seri…

@arcaneaxiom
Hi! I generally lean more towards soft worldbuilding, though I am trying to create a world with harder worldbuilding. (I haven’t actually come up with any good ideas yet though.) My duck world has a very soft magic system, in which pretty much every weird magic idea I’ve had exists. Including a singing pineapple.
My favorite concept…[Read more]

Hi!
I’m Janessa, aka Trailblazer, because I love hiking, especially in the mountains.
I love mountain hiking! What mountains do you hike? My family always goes to the Blue Ridge mountains on vacation and we always hike!
I can’t say I’ve written people I don’t like into my novels, but I’ve definitely written interesting strangers…

Hello! Oh YES. SHINY THINGS. I love shiny things!!!
Your WIPs sound amazing. I would totally read them. What is Queen Natalie queen of?
Thanks! Natalie is queen of an island inhabited mostly by ducks, which needs a name. (I named it Angel Island when I was about 9, but that had nothing to do with the world or the plot, I just thought it…[Read more]

Ok, so the contemporary one I was talking about I don’t quite have a plot for yet, lol. I know a lot about the characters, but not the story.
I get that. That’s most of my wips.
The other one is dystopian and it’s about two families (a member from each which are my MCs) who start looking for “the cure” after their president who’s t…

One of my characters has a fire-breathing cat named Fire Face. But he isn’t fireproof on the outside… so he sometimes catches himself on fire… very unfortunate for him.
😆Poor thing.
And yeah! That’d be good way to explain steampunk.
Cool!

Sorry it took me so long to answer. I had to make a list! I think there are 46 books/series on this list, and I probably missed some. I couldn’t just pick one!
Freddy the Pig
Harry Potter
Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians
The Stormlight Archive
Tress of the Emerald Sea
Lord of the Rings
The Hobbit
Chronicles of Narnia
CS Lewis’ S…[Read more] - Load More
