@seekjustice No, I’ve never heard of him. I’m looking him up now, though, and I’ll tell you what I think.
Have you ever seen the Mary Poppins movie? The musical is very different from the movie.
I know. City people have no knowledge of anything. 😛 (Well, anything related to country life, anyway. 😉 )

@seekjustice Ah, the story of Anastasia sounds amazing in the movie and musical…until you read the truth of the matter and hear about the entire family’s horrible, gory deaths, including Anastasia’s. It’s terrible!
I was considering asking you the name of that Wright Brothers show when I thought of Little House on the Prairie and thought…[Read more]

@leumeister Because I tagged you? 😛 That’s how we always get people to come on here. Anyway, it worked, didn’t it? You’re here now! 😛
Oh yes! Having someone beta-read is definitely helpful! If only I could get the next section of my book done for my own beta-readers. 😉 (I am an extremely slow writer…) Do you write faster, or edit f…[Read more]

@seekjustice I love those! …oh, I hate those!! 😛
I love discussing historical inaccuracies, and watching videos about them is very fun. However, I also am horrified when I see a video that is itself purporting to be accurate and is instead very inaccurate. I saw a few of those recently when I was watching fashion history videos. Some of…[Read more]

@seekjustice @valtmy Are either of you still around? I wasn’t on before because I was completing a law school assignment, but it’s done now and I’ll be writing for a little bit.
@leumeister You said you might be on this topic sometimes? How about now? 😉

Haha it’s fine I completely understand! 👌 There’s no real rush since I’m also still not done with the second part.

😓
Btw have you taken a look at the chapters I’ve uploaded for my WIP? Cos I think it might be helpful if I got some comments before I proceed any further.

My WIP. I have *sigh* this compulsive need to edit what I’ve already written when I really should be moving on.

@seekjustice Katie would rather have to do everything spontaneously. It’s what she does anyway. 😉
@rochellaine Katie would rather cook for two hundred guests. Never mind that she can’t cook, or that her tiny kitchen would never have enough room for all that food, or that she would probably chose to make soothing ridiculously complicated. She…[Read more]

@daughteroftheking Let’s see…Chara would rather – um – probably never make an important decision again. She would rather have other people make the important decisions for her. (She’ll stick with deciding what to wear each day and what to buy her family for Christmas. 😛 )
@seekjustice When asked that question regarding a specific decision, C…[Read more]

@leumeister Are you asking what we do on Writers’ Corner?
@valtmy You should definitely read @seekjustice‘s book when you get a chance! 😉

Oh a Les Mis retelling that’s interesting 😀 I might take a look at it one day when I actually have the time!
I’ve only ever read one Les Mis retelling before and that was, um, not really a retelling (Pratchett’s Night Watch). It featured a good Javert (an honourable cop) and a bad Valjean (a serial killer) who travelled back in…[Read more]

What are you working on now? And (this is really embarrassing to ask since I feel like I should know this by now) can you tell me what your book is about? I see mentions of Justice and Chessy here and there and I know there are links to your drafts floating about but (sorry about this) I never really got around to reading it…[Read more]

@seekjustice If being an author means getting up at six and going to bed before ten, I think I might need to reconsider my decision to become one. 😛
But seriously, I have considered getting up early to get things done, and it’s happened a few times. I could probably count them on my fingers, though. 😉 My whole family stays up pretty late ev…[Read more]
