Hello! I’m SarahSmile, a homeschooler new to highschool. I like historical fiction and mysteries, but my active WIP is sci-fi. I haven’t done much with romance, though I have an inkling of a story idea that might include it.
MODERN ANNE OF GREEN GABLES RETELLING!?!?!?! THAT IS SO COOL!!!! I MUST LEARN MORE!!!!❤️
I am a HUGE Anne of Green Gables fan (as evidenced by the above) and that sounds like such a cool take on/retelling of the story!
You seem to have enough questions to answer, so I shall abstain.
Hope to see you around! Best of luck on your story and God bless!
How cool! 😄 The synopsis is intriguing…
Pardon my interruption, but did you make a statement? Or do exclamations no longer count as partial statements?
(
In my theology, I actually believe in an eternal progression, where we can eventually become as God (I understand this is actually not a common thing amongst most Christianity, I hope that it doesn’t generate any frustration). Either way though, I’m glad we see eye to eye that enlightenment to some degree will come to us in the next life!
) (I have included parentheses to ensure that I brake no rules by quoting a statement)
Have you, in doing this, inadvertently answered how long an average human being can only speak in questions before making a slip up?
Great idea!
*reads entire discussion up to this point*
Why have I not seen this sooner?
How awesome is this?
How long can an average human play a game of ‘only speak in questions’ without succumbing to the insurmountable urge to make a statement?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop?
(I love that song!)
What do you call a group of geckoos???
Have you ever heard of An Exaltation of Larks (by James Lipton) or The Book of St. Albans (author disputed)? (Both books on on that general topic, but regrettably I was unable to find a conclusive answer to your question)
Why can you be up for something, and down for something and both mean your want to do that something? Is a generalization you could make that you can be some external vector for something? But when you say ‘I’m out’, isn’t that saying that you don’t want to do that something, even though it would be an external vector? And why can you also say ‘I’m in’ being an internal vector, meaning that you want to do that something? What does up, down, in share in common, that out doesn’t?
(What a fascinating question…😐😔🥺😢😭😩😑🤭😆😆🤣🤣🤣)
Hello Ava! I like Rina’s design! I’m SarahSmile, and I’m also a home-schooler new to highschool (I’m in 9th grade)! I like historical fiction and mysteries, but my active WIP is sci-fi. I haven’t really done any fantasy. Some hopefully unasked questions:
- What’s your favorite color?
- What time of day do you do the most writing?
- When did you first start writing?
Hope to see you around!🙂
Murder, She Wrote is about the (fictional) author Jessica Fletcher (a.k.a. J.B. Fletcher), ‘A famous mystery writer who has a knack for solving murders on and off the page.’ – according to the season one DVD case. She’s one of those people mysteries tend to follow around: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MysteryMagnet
Yeah, that makes sense.

I looked it up and have conformed that ‘Deceptionist’ is not a word, however ‘Imbecilic’ is.
@anybody-who-happens-to-be-on-this-topic Cool!
I thought of the word ‘Inexorable’, it means impossible to prevent or stop; unrelenting.
Aw man, that stinks! Were you going for a mission trip or just for fun?
Just for fun.
Hm, I think I may have to agree with the ‘some people’ but hey, different people have different tastebuds. 😂
That’s true! But if you didn’t think grapefruit was a weird food, would I really have answered your initial question
Weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?
properly?🤔😜
Silverpoint. I’ll look into it.
It’s nice to hear people other than myself say they think my story is awesome!
If you ever want to learn more about Bing, I have bits of a draft for the first chapter, and some descriptions of how part of the school system works, if your interested.
Where does the sci-fi aspect come in?
I’ve been having a little difficulty with that, but I think I’m making progress.
I mentioned asteroids and summer camp: my current thought is that either Bing lives on the asteroid and goes to camp on Earth, or vise-versa. I’m also planning to include teleporters, communicators, and other technologies that mimic the ones from Star Trek (to a certain degree). But that’s about all in terms of specifically defined sci-fi things.
