@sam-kowal @supermonkey42 I guess mine is called “Writerly Adventures” instead of “KP Adventure” now. “KPA” is very vague. I suppose “KPA” is its code name XD

All right! @aislinn-mollisong Here you go.
“@supermonkey42 Challenge accepted. (Warning: I am no poet. This may be painful.)
Samwise had seen many wonderful things, like oliphaunts, elves, and magical rings. But after his wand’ring adventures were done, he found something else that was almost as fun.

Hey, all you Kapeefers out there!
I have an idea. (Trust me, that’s very dangerous.)
So, by now there has been quite a bit of Kapeefer Literature written. Unfortunately, as I realized when I went to re-read some of it, it is very hard to find. The Legend of King Daeus actually comes up in Google, but all the rest are buried in pages of ‘Recent…[Read more]

The GIF-Hiders: An Easter Story
Part Five: The Cart at the Edge of the Forest
“Wild troll-things?” Jenna wondered to herself as she soared on Kai’s back through the night.

Several minutes later, she was at the edge of the Vivid Green forest, the largest wood on the island. The ankle-high grass shone white under the radiant, full moon (whic…[Read more]

I split it so it is shorter. :3 *shrug*Part Five
Tennis CourtCatwing had been attempting to run after them on the ground, but for whatever reason her feet weren’t touching the ground as she ran. Looking over at Snapper, she realized some flying and walking rule had been r…[Read more]

@daeus Okay, thanks! And the antagonistic force is primarily the opposing institution, due to a long history of rivalry between the two.
@mnvalentine Mmm, yes, that makes sense. Thank you!
@sam-kowal 😀 Thanks! I don’t know how long it’s going to be (its my first real novel idea) but we’ll see.

@sam-kowal Thanks! If you do try it, please let me know, because I am totally in the dark as to what “separates” them but for some reason I really hope they can break through the windows and get together! 😀
I’d also like to see any prompts you make up.
(I know what you mean…I am definitely working on WAY too many projects at once!)

Hi everyone,
So for a novel idea I’ve been struggling with for some time, I have the protagonist learn different things over the course of the story. The central theme would be selfishness, but at the moment I’m not sure if all that I have going on is too complicated for one book.
Here’s a synopsis: My protagonist is selfish and by circumstances…[Read more]

Hi everyone! Here’s this topic finally. (I talked with a few of you about it a couple of days ago.)

@Sam-Kowal ha! Well, remind me, and I will. ;P
And YES. Depth is everything. If you can boil your entire world down to a single deep, resonant core story/concept, so much the better for you. Hard to stress enough how important that is. Focus on what you have and make it so magical you don’t have to go look for other things to distract you.

@sam-kowal Awesome to meet another fantasy writer (and find out that I don’t actually belong in an asylum)!
Yep, that’s the one. It was originally a trilogy (Black, Red, and White), but now there is a fourth book, called Green. I haven’t actually read Green because I was told it isn’t as good as the rest of them.
