      Hi everyone!  Here’s this topic finally. (I talked with a few of you about it a couple of days ago.)

      What we do here is post prompts which we’ve come up with but don’t actually want to write ourselves.  These can be in the form of collages or they can just be sentence prompts…but anyone who sees them here can use them for stories of their own.

      So recently I’ve been having a lot of fun making random collages with no stories intended to be written with them.  Here are a few of my best, and I hope someone likes them and will use them as story inspiration.

      This one’s my favorite:

      (And a few of you have seen the next one already…)

      So anyway, take ’em and use ’em!  And if you do, and it’s possible, I’d like to know how the story ends up! 😀

          @jenwriter17 Please do!  I think you have a very different style than I do. 🙂  I’m interested to see what your prompts look like.  I hope one of them makes me think of a story to write!

            @rochellaine 🙂 Are we allowed to post just photo prompts too?

              Here’s a dialogue prompt I found, if anyone wants it.

                @jenwriter17 In answer to your question, I intended this to be a topic with just prompts we come up with ourselves, since it’s possible to find millions of prompts elsewhere on the internet.  So yes, you can post  a picture prompt, but if you draw it yourself. 😀  All the collages I posted are ones I made “out of my own head” but didn’t want to use as prompts for my own stories, so I decided to share them.  That’s why I created this topic in the Art forum, rather than in the General Writing Discussions forum.

                However, if several people do want to post prompts they find on the internet, let me know and I might change my mind. 🙂

                  @rochellaine ooooh, I see. Making us work harder than just finding stuff on the internet, huh? 😉 sorry for that last one then, found it on pinterest.

                    @jenwriter17 Haha, yeah. 🙂

                    No worries.  I tend to give a whole long ramble explaining something and then realize that I didn’t explain it at all…

                    That prompt actually reminds me of the fight between the Man in Black and Inigo Montoya when they both thought they were so much better than the other that they used their left hands for their swords to make it a more fair fight. 😀

                      What a neat idea for a forum topic! Your prompts are really good. Here are two of mine.

                      @allison-grace Come check out this topic! 😀

                          @gabbyj Um…I think I’m going to actually try writing a short story for your first prompt.  This will be weird because I almost exclusively write realistic fiction, but I do – ahem – on occasion, (very rare occasion,) write sci-fi.  IF it works out I’ll let you know! 😀

                              @gabbyj That villains one…*cries tears of laughter* I might incorporate this into my new story WIP thingy (which I really need to start…), it would be hilarious! (I posted about it a long, long, time ago in a galaxy not so far away…AKA back when I first joined KP…. Wow. That seems like so long ago. (I really need to stop rambling on and on and on…. *fades away into the background*)

                                @rochellaine 😀 This is a great topic idea. That last prompt you made is seriously epic and introspective. If I weren’t already working on too many projects at once, I would try it. I may still, but it seems the type of theme that would require a subte and delicate theme-master to make work.
