*comes in rubbing bump on head, gavel in hand* Does this belong to someone? I was out taking a breather as instructed by the official Cobalt fan club physician @bluejay when this thing came flying through the window! *tucks gavel safely away on @christi-eaton shelf*
@kate-flournoy *clears throat* the president should 1) organize meetings where…[Read more]

*runs in out of breath* “I heard thy scream dear lady,” @kate-flournoy “What is it that troubles thee?” *scrolls upward, continues to previous pages. Comes back huffing and puffing* Whew. You nearly gave me a heart attack. I thought someone’s villain had actually got the better of them. *clears throat* Any more violent outburst of this kind and I…[Read more]

@daeus Nice! Writing with others has been super helpful at keeping me focused as well! I got 944 words written which successfully finished off my scene. Which I’m super-duper happy about, cause it was one of those scenes that had been looming in the air for some time and if I didn’t get it written out soon, might have fallen flat by the time I…[Read more]

@daeus I think I’ll keep going to 10:30 (11:30). I’ve had no distractions and I really want to finish off this scene!

And a couple of superhero sidekicks. One who can teleport short-range and one who is basically a human magnet. Neither can control their powers very well. (There turns out to be a LOT more to the teleporting kid’s powers… but… yeah. That would take forever to explain and it would probably end up sounding stupid anyway.
With your…[Read more]

Or a dragon who has to save the prince from the princess.
@hope Ooo that’s an even more interesting combination! I like it!
Ha, that’s funny cause I’m actually writing something like that right now only the dragon does a terrible job of saving the knight (a frog does it instead) and I’m using and evil Rapunzel instead of a princ…[Read more]

Well, I’m getting more writing done right now. But I’m unsure if I’ll be able to tonight. (It depends on how long the company stays 🙂 )
@daeus It may or may not be just you…and the crickets. -

@ingridrd Oh please keep talking! Thanks for jumping in and sharing! That is a scary dream though. Aren’t dreams weird. Especially the vivid ones. Oh my, I just remembered a dream I had that I thought would make a fantastic story! A young woman had just married a man and they had moved out west, but he was unjustly accused of some horrendous crime…[Read more]

Squirrels. I love squirrels. Especially black ones! I had to look up the Fennec Fox and you’re right they’re totally adorable! We do have a lot of pets. Cats. A parrot. A dragon. A gecko. A dove. Ducks. Chickens.
Hey if you have any more art projects that you’ve drawn, you should post them under the Art topic in the forum. I’d love to see more of…[Read more] -

That would be an awful dream!!! How sad and horrible! I have to admit though I laughed only because I managed to read the story wrong and so thought that you had put your “mouth” over the “hand” of the gun instead of vice versa. It made for a humorous picture see, with your mouth over the gun and then you saying “I saved the…[Read more] -

@bluejay haha! I’ll not copyright it! Besides, even if we all wrote a story from the same idea, they would all turn out so different it would be incredible 🙂
And I just found this written on a piece of paper I keep in my little stack of papers of stories I never wrote…
Once there was a tale of an old ship which sunk and over time the sea…[Read more]

Hearty hello to you @christi-eaton! Glad you have you a part of the forum!
I’m trying to think of a really creative get to know you question… but I’m not getting anything more creative than what’s your favorite animal? :p (animals are so fun!) Do you have any pets? -

@kate-flournoy A pearl for the villains. I wasn’t quite expecting that. Then I thought “that’s a good idea”. Just imagine a couple who’s first child is born with a pearl. What would they do? Hide him till he grew up and they could hide him and his gem no longer? I won’t tell you to write it now cause I know how it is to be working hard on my…[Read more]
