Mel
The rug under Mel’s feet looked soft, so she sat down on it and began stroking the fur. The voices from the others blurred together in an abstract painting behind her. Something about monsters and home. Her hand sank deeper into the fur and she found herself stuck in the repetitive motion of combing her fingers…[Read more]

Lucille
Lucy took a deep breath of the flowers, and passed some of them to Mel. This sniff test required a two-person court.
While the adults talked, Lucy watched Gabriel quietly, then glanced around the room. She wandered around, analyzing everything, from the table to the many skins.
Something had spilled on another…[Read more]

@whalekeeper @rae @loopylin ok i’m back
Sniper
Gabriel walked around like he knew the place.
Sorta reminded me of, well, me during the war, when I was wanderin’ the old halls of my dad’s lab back on Staten, my earliest memories reactivated.
“Is this where you lived with that old man? Your master?” Lucy asked.
“This is where he found me.…[Read more]

Let your crew know. You shouldn’t be concerned about how strong or weak you look. That’s a minor issue. Falling over is a major issue. I’m not trying to wildly speculate, but isn’t there a possibility that you lose balance on a boat and pitch over? If you don’t tell anyone, there’s a risk of hitting your head or worse.
Many, many people…[Read more]

I’m so sorry that happened.
I have a few thoughts, but I want to shoot you an email because I’d rather say what I have to say off-line.

Yeah it’s crazy. Luckily the AI can’t access everything, and what it can see is very jumbled up. I think it can only see our profile pages and some of the posts underneath. I tried asking it more detailed questions and it couldn’t answer them correctly.
What did y’all use? Ch…

Lucille
Soldier was so big and blustering, it was hard not to jump when he said something. Lucy still held Mel, but the two of them shuffled closer to look.
The stone pathway looked friendly enough, clearing away the silvery green moss and grass, and leading to the quaint red door. It had indeed appeared out of nowhere.…[Read more]

Oh my good gracious!
That is wild. I am tempted to try a few questions of my own…. lol. What did y’all use? Chatgpt?
There is a way to hide it, but you have to do it from the website settings, and we don’t have access to the back of KP.

Oh yeah, those are surprisingly funny. I was searching up a KP topic a while back and accidentally asked the AI, which led me down a short rabbit hole.
You can try asking about the roleplays too. Sometimes it was accurate and sometimes it got things really wrong.
Guys, I’m famous not because of me naming our beautiful digital ghost Wyoh, b…

I vote we do 17 sometime soon because that sounds like it could give Mel a rest, but anything is good with me. Or we could combine them.
MelMel sniffled a bit, staring at the ground in embarrassment. She shuffled her feet and then looked up at Lucy again, about to say something else, when she suddenly stopped. She…[Read more]

Ooo! I like it!
But don’t slick his hair back. It dpesn’t fit him. lol.
I still LOVE that one that you did for the mockup cover, and all my favorites are the older Baron drawings when you first started using the markers and he still had that almost whispy or windy look.
But these are still good!

Mel
Mel stopped trying to hold it in and cried quietly into Lucy’s shoulder. She couldn’t tell if the grown-ups had obeyed Lucy’s command to close their eyes, but she felt comforted by the idea. Lucy squeezed a bit tighter. This was better than stinky crow feathers.
After a couple minutes which felt much longer, her…[Read more] - Load More
