  • @nova21 but there are series that have no mention of each other except the world or some other aspect. I believe there are anyway and you can probably find them online.

One thing too is to know your fans. You’re not gonna be looking for your average series fans specifically (tho most will probably love your books) but you’ll also be moving tow…[Read more]

  • @nova21 Hiya! So honest opinion, I personally don’t care for those kinda series mainly because when I get attached to a character I get ATTACHED. Like seriously attached. If that characters grabs me, and I have to get used to an entirely new one I’m like “ehhh”

BUT with that being said, there are many series’ out there like this i’m sure…[Read more]

    Sounds super fun!

Hm. I haven’t read many books like this, but my instinct would be to say that the books should tie in to each other in some way. It could literally be a tiny cameo, or “Remember ___”, or whatever, but I think that even small connections like that make it much more satisfying as a reader.

    Also, realistically, events in…[Read more]

  • @nova21 I think I have one series on my to-do where the only thing in common was that they were in the same world and some minor characters made an appearance. Heck, most of my series happen in the same world.

I think that your ideas sound awesome! I feel like however that the three should either a) tie in with each other at the end, or b) have…[Read more]

  • Hey, guys!

I just found out Amazon Kindle is coming out with a reading program similar to Radish or Wattpad called “Kindle Villa”, where you can get paid for readers reading your novels.

That being said, does anyone have anything they’d like to share about it? (Questions are welcome too!)

  • For those who asked, my current WIP is like an adventure/fantasy/retelling-inspired-by-the-peloponnesian-war… yeah that sounds confusing, I need to come up with a better way to describe it lol.

And also thanks so much for telling me about yourselves, I may not be able to keep names straight but your writing seems so awesome, your hobbies and…[Read more]

  • Hello friends!

I hope everyone is doing well <3

So, long story short, I’m attempting to “get back into” reading. It’s been a long while since I’ve read regularly for pleasure (I blame being an English major in college–it’s difficult to find the mental space for a “fun” book when you’re floundering through various reading lists, you see), and I…[Read more]

  • This is very random, but when y’all are writing and you get stuck at a scene, do you make yourself keep working on it so you stay in order? Or do you sort of jump to the next scene that interests you so you can keep up your momentum?

Adding some peoples… (also this might go through twice…)
