I like them. Julian’s still my favorite. It was nice to get some of Leon’s backstory, in a non-info dumping way. 😉
It seems this is going to be harder than they thought..

NEXT SECTION! 2
It was after sunset, and Julian and Leon were walking alone in the dim light. “So, how should we go about this?” Julian asked.
“I say the same as we did when on the run in Ardenta. We’ll try to get a place to sleep with a family, shar…

Rory
A sound stabbed into the peaceful blackness, dragging Rory back to the world. A the next moment he had spun to his feet, tripping slightly over whatever was tangled about him. He threw out a hand to steady himself and almost fell. “Yes sir, here sir,” He said hurriedly, before grouping for his gun.

Oooo!!!! I really like this!!! This is getting good! I was really laughing during the doll scene!
Hmm, I would give him Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
At least, that’s the verse that came to mind while I was…[Read more]

Little Joy
Baron watched a little girl run across a meadow, flowers woven into her long silver hair. She was laughing in childish joy as three other children chased after her through the meadow grass. The youngest of the three, a boy who was probably only three…[Read more] -

Leo
Five thirty. Silvia stood in the kitchen doorway with most of her hair still in a loose braid and a comb in her hand. The wild curtain of curls nearly hid her puffy, red rimmed eyes.
“Good morning, Sis.” Leo whispered and set down the spatula. “Didn’t get much sleep?”
She shrugged and shuffled over to fill the tea kettle.…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle @whalekeeper (Do you like sugar or cream with that?)
Thank ya’ll so much! I am enjoying using a simpler, more whimsical style than I use with graphite. Watercolor is just… fairytale-esc.
And shading with watercolor is finally starting to make sense. XD

I would like to not be a night owl. It just seems to always happen.
But no, I should try at least to go to bed at a earlier time.

Sypher
Rax. Ben. These must be their short names. Sypher glanced between the two strangers, his lips pressed in a thin blue line.
Then he blinked and looked away. Maybe these people were strange, but this place was even stranger, so what else was a sprite to expect?
“Syph. You may call me Syph.” He waved a hand to the vaulted door…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle I am so, soooo glad you enjoyed Broken Shackles! 💜💜
Thank you so much for your support.
I’ve noted what you said and I can see where things got repetitive (something I’m still trying to work on😅). As far as Riker thinking his sins are greater, it honestly really depends. I based that part of his struggles based on my own battle…[Read more]
