Lucille
Lucy took a deep breath of the flowers, and passed some of them to Mel. This sniff test required a two-person court.
While the adults talked, Lucy watched Gabriel quietly, then glanced around the room. She wandered around, analyzing everything, from the table to the many skins.
Something had spilled on another…[Read more]

He’d bled on the floor more times than he cared to tell her. He hoped she wouldn’t notice more faint stains.

So you’re trying to present Ara’s world to the reader before the inciting incident happens, and you don’t know how to translate the inner world to the outer world?
If so, wait a minute. We have the same problem. I’m trying to write the same thing. XDThe best I can say is to come up with a meaningful, but normal situation that re…[Read more]

@whalekeeper @rae @loopylin ok i’m back
Sniper
Gabriel walked around like he knew the place.
Sorta reminded me of, well, me during the war, when I was wanderin’ the old halls of my dad’s lab back on Staten, my earliest memories reactivated.
“Is this where you lived with that old man? Your master?” Lucy asked.
“This is where he found me.…[Read more]

Also yeah, like @elishavet-pidyon said! Writing calls! I’m not sure how to make it accessible to everyone because not everyone uses Google chat. Which is what I normally use for calls. But we can figure it out.

You wrote more than 50k words, which is a lot of emotional effort when writing the series of your dreams. So first off, that’s awesome. You’ll have plenty of material to edit. You’re definitely burnt out from that. That sounds normal to me.
I’m currently at an ADORABLE bookshop/cafe and slowly wanting and feeling the nudge to g…

Callum
The Stormwatcher legacy was impressive. Scary, even. Callum could imagine having visions, since he already knew half of the experience. Ellis had something to contribute to his family – something helpful. Maybe it didn’t require much ingenuity, which was something Callum needed because he had no born powers. But it sounded…[Read more]

Let your crew know. You shouldn’t be concerned about how strong or weak you look. That’s a minor issue. Falling over is a major issue. I’m not trying to wildly speculate, but isn’t there a possibility that you lose balance on a boat and pitch over? If you don’t tell anyone, there’s a risk of hitting your head or worse.
Many, many people…[Read more]

Callum
Somewhere in Callum’s echoing headspace, Ellis’ voice rose to the surface. It took a minute to process everything he said. He was friendly. Understanding, even.
It was rather dark outside, and crickets had begun their evening song, but lamps lit up the bench from either side. The lights were like splotches of butter-colored pai…[Read more]

Huntress
“Great, lead the way!” Trevor handed me the torch, and I began searching the maze.
Eventually, light began appearing, shining through racks in the wall. I extinguished the torch and studied the light. It didn’t seem like sunlight, but it wasn’t something like lava either. The cave was far too cold for that.
I pointed up…[Read more]

There are lots of different options and I don’t know who to pick. Do you prefer drawing children, or older teens/adults? And do you prefer drawing realistic humans?
Fair warning. I began on Wolfgang twice, and I don’t like either attempt. I’ve been really tired this past week. So it won’t be done as soon as I’d like

Yeah it’s crazy. Luckily the AI can’t access everything, and what it can see is very jumbled up. I think it can only see our profile pages and some of the posts underneath. I tried asking it more detailed questions and it couldn’t answer them correctly.

Lucille
Soldier was so big and blustering, it was hard not to jump when he said something. Lucy still held Mel, but the two of them shuffled closer to look.
The stone pathway looked friendly enough, clearing away the silvery green moss and grass, and leading to the quaint red door. It had indeed appeared out of nowhere.…[Read more]
