Kind of spunky, maybe a little goofy. Optimistic and sweet. And probably a little crazy sometimes, but definitely lovable.
(Am I close??)

Oh my word, I think I know what meme your profile picture is from. 😂 Is it the Never Gonna/Hebrews 13:5 one? (I think that’s the right verse…)

I think taking examples and stories from real life is one of the best ways to make things seem more realistic. And it adds a personal touch or maybe an inside joke for the author and maybe some of their close friends or family members. 😉
For example, I really want to either write a romance or incorporate it into a…[Read more]

Wow. Especially in light of God’s Word, I take great delight in all three elements of Story, seeing that God does too! But when it comes down to it, I might say characters. I think God pours the most love into his characters, and the way characters drive plot and their webs interweave with each other, is just mindboggling. Each character h…

I like it, though it would probably make a bit more sense if it was short for something longer.

We’re discussing the concept of 4 dimensions? I’m tracing your conversation back to understand what lead to it, and your getting me excited. So you want to make a Interstellar inspired story with more Christian themes mixed in, and now you’ve mentioned bring up the 4th dimension.
To clarify Keilah, extra spatial dimensions in…[Read more]

Ohhh I see. I thought you were talking about Grimm’s Fairy Tales specifically, which was why I was so confused. Ok.
And to all the people saying ‘the endings are so unrealistic’ and stuff, it’s because they’re metaphors for the gospel story. I’m not going to completely go off on a tangent, so I won’t say anything more, but, ye…[Read more]

That’s very true, how much do we really know? I think one of the few things we can know is that for now there is a lot we don’t. There is so much in all creation, and it really is foolish to believe we have any idea how it all really works, unless it is revealed unto us by the Father. But it is very fun to entertain different ideas and…[Read more]

I was just surprised and curious as to which one it was because I’ve read a lot of Grimm’s Fairy Tales and never come across anything bad. I’ll have to ask my online lit teacher about it when class starts up cuz she’s like, a genius and knows pretty much everything about fairy tales. I wasn’t gonna read it if it wasn’t any…[Read more]

Probably hard; I enjoy whimsical storytelling, and have indulged in it. Off-the-cuff, in the moment stories. But when it’s something I really care about, I have to organize the ideas, compare them to my fundamental beliefs, figure out how they correspond to God’s way of thinking… I admire Tolkien quite a bit, even if I don’t plan to worldbu…

Oh yes, definitely keep him around. 😉 I feel like there’s tons of potential for his backstory and his role in the story… 😏 I don’t have any ideas in particular on what that could be right now, but I always love characters that the readers don’t know quite everything about.
