@magicalstories0611 AHHH I LOVE FANTASY RETELLINGS (this might be because my first published book was a retelling XD) and I had the idea for a complete super long series of retellings lol.
Anyway, they’re close to ma heart.
That being said BE CAREFUL looking up the original fairy tales. They can be VERY…uhh…NOT GOOD…

I’ve read the original Rapunzel, and it isn’t terribly dark. 😊 The only part I can think of which might be dark is when the prince falls from the tower, and the thorns below blind him. Even then, it doesn’t go into detail.

#ProtectSebI was just surprised and curious as to which one it was because I’ve read a lot of Grimm’s Fairy Tales and never come across anything bad. I’ll have to ask my online lit teacher about it when class starts up cuz she’s like, a genius and knows pretty much everything about fairy tales. I wasn’t gonna read it if it wasn’t anything I’d heard of or read before 😊. That’s fine, though, that you don’t want to share the name. I get it.
